我告爾、若非為淫故出妻而他娶者、即犯姦也、娶被出之婦者、亦犯姦也、有原文抄本無此二句

吾語爾、凡非因不貞之故、出其妻而別娶者、姦也；娶已出之妻者、亦姦也。』

I tell you that anyone who divorces his wife, except for sexual immorality, and marries another woman commits adultery.”

Here is what I tell you. Anyone who divorces his wife and marries another woman commits adultery. A man may divorce his wife only if she has not been faithful to him.”

And I say to you: whoever divorces his wife, except for sexual immorality, and marries another, commits adultery.”

And I tell you this, whoever divorces his wife and marries someone else commits adultery— unless his wife has been unfaithful.”

And I say unto you, Whosoever shall put away his wife, except for fornication, and shall marry another, committeth adultery: and he that marrieth her when she is put away committeth adultery.

And I say unto you, Whosoever shall put away his wife, except[ it be] for fornication, and shall marry another, committeth adultery: and whoso marrieth her which is put away doth commit adultery.

A wife is bound as long as her husband is living. But if her husband dies, she is free to marry anyone she wishes( only someone in the Lord).

“ Everyone who divorces his wife and marries someone else commits adultery, and the one who marries a woman divorced from her husband commits adulter y.

But I say to you that everyone who divorces his wife, except for immorality, makes her commit adultery, and whoever marries a divorced woman commits adultery.

To the married I give this command– not I, but the Lord– a wife should not divorce a husband( but if she does, let her remain unmarried, or be reconciled to her husband), and a husband should not divorce his wife.To the rest I say– I, not the Lord– if a brother has a wife who is not a believer and she is happy to live with him, he should not divorce her.And if a woman has a husband who is not a believer and he is happy to live with her, she should not divorce him.

It is actually reported that sexual immorality exists among you, the kind of immorality that is not permitted even among the Gentiles, so that someone is cohabiting with his father’s wife.

But God appeared to Abimelech in a dream at night and said to him,“ You are as good as dead because of the woman you have taken, for she is someone else’s wife.”

She also saw that I gave wayward Israel her divorce papers and sent her away because of her adulterous worship of other gods. Even after her unfaithful sister Judah had seen this, she still was not afraid, and she too went and gave herself like a prostitute to other gods.

So he told them,“ Whoever divorces his wife and marries another commits adultery against her.And if she divorces her husband and marries another, she commits adultery.”

Then you multiplied your promiscuity to the land of merchants, Babylonia, but you were not satisfied there either.

For a married woman is bound by law to her husband as long as he lives, but if her husband dies, she is released from the law of the marriage.So then, if she is joined to another man while her husband is alive, she will be called an adulteress. But if her husband dies, she is free from that law, and if she is joined to another man, she is not an adulteress.

“‘ But you trusted in your beauty and capitalized on your fame by becoming a prostitute. You offered your sexual favors to every man who passed by so that your beauty became his.

“‘ Then I passed by you and watched you, noticing that you had reached the age for love. I spread my cloak over you and covered your nakedness. I swore a solemn oath to you and entered into a marriage covenant with you, declares the sovereign LORD, and you became mine.

So Pharaoh summoned Abram and said,“ What is this you have done to me? Why didn’t you tell me that she was your wife?Why did you say,‘ She is my sister,’ so that I took her to be my wife? Here is your wife! Take her and go!”

“ If a man divorces his wife and she leaves him and becomes another man’s wife, he may not take her back again. Doing that would utterly defile the land. But you, Israel, have given yourself as a prostitute to many gods. So what makes you think you can return to me?” says the LORD.

He also built high places on the hills of Judah; he encouraged the residents of Jerusalem to be unfaithful to the LORD and led Judah away from the LORD.

It is not the wife who has the rights to her own body, but the husband. In the same way, it is not the husband who has the rights to his own body, but the wife.
