Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion; shout, O daughter of Jerusalem: behold, thy king cometh unto thee; he is just, and having salvation; lowly, and riding upon an ass, even upon a colt the foal of an ass.And I will cut off the chariot from Ephraim, and the horse from Jerusalem; and the battle bow shall be cut off; and he shall speak peace unto the nations: and his dominion shall be from sea to sea, and from the River to the ends of the earth.

Behold, Jehovah hath proclaimed unto the end of the earth, Say ye to the daughter of Zion, Behold, thy salvation cometh; behold, his reward is with him, and his recompense before him.

The sceptre shall not depart from Judah, Nor the ruler’s staff from between his feet, Until Shiloh come; And unto him shall the obedience of the peoples be.

Sing, O daughter of Zion; shout, O Israel; be glad and rejoice with all the heart, O daughter of Jerusalem.Jehovah hath taken away thy judgments, he hath cast out thine enemy: the King of Israel, even Jehovah, is in the midst of thee; thou shalt not fear evil any more.

And my servant David shall be king over them; and they all shall have one shepherd: they shall also walk in mine ordinances, and observe my statutes, and do them.

And in the days of those kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom which shall never be destroyed, nor shall the sovereignty thereof be left to another people; but it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand for ever.Forasmuch as thou sawest that a stone was cut out of the mountain without hands, and that it brake in pieces the iron, the brass, the clay, the silver, and the gold; the great God hath made known to the king what shall come to pass hereafter: and the dream is certain, and the interpretation thereof sure.

doing nothing through faction or through vainglory, but in lowliness of mind each counting other better than himself;not looking each of you to his own things, but each of you also to the things of others.Have this mind in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:

For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.Of the increase of his government and of peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to establish it, and to uphold it with justice and with righteousness from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of Jehovah of hosts will perform this.

But I will have mercy upon the house of Judah, and will save them by Jehovah their God, and will not save them by bow, nor by sword, nor by battle, by horses, nor by horsemen.

And I, Jehovah, will be their God, and my servant David prince among them; I, Jehovah, have spoken it.

Behold, the days come, saith Jehovah, that I will raise unto David a righteous Branch, and he shall reign as king and deal wisely, and shall execute justice and righteousness in the land.In his days Judah shall be saved, and Israel shall dwell safely; and this is his name whereby he shall be called: Jehovah our righteousness.

Cry aloud and shout, thou inhabitant of Zion; for great in the midst of thee is the Holy One of Israel.

O thou that tellest good tidings to Zion, get thee up on a high mountain; O thou that tellest good tidings to Jerusalem, lift up thy voice with strength; lift it up, be not afraid; say unto the cities of Judah, Behold, your God!

Give the king thy judgments, O God, And thy righteousness unto the king’s son.He will judge thy people with righteousness, And thy poor with justice.The mountains shall bring peace to the people, And the hills, in righteousness.He will judge the poor of the people, He will save the children of the needy, And will break in pieces the oppressor.They shall fear thee while the sun endureth, And so long as the moon, throughout all generations.He will come down like rain upon the mown grass, As showers that water the earth.In his days shall the righteous flourish, And abundance of peace, till the moon be no more.He shall have dominion also from sea to sea, And from the River unto the ends of the earth.They that dwell in the wilderness shall bow before him; And his enemies shall lick the dust.The kings of Tarshish and of the isles shall render tribute: The kings of Sheba and Seba shall offer gifts.Yea, all kings shall fall down before him; All nations shall serve him.For he will deliver the needy when he crieth, And the poor, that hath no helper.He will have pity on the poor and needy, And the souls of the needy he will save.He will redeem their soul from oppression and violence; And precious will their blood be in his sight:And they shall live; and to him shall be given of the gold of Sheba: And men shall pray for him continually; They shall bless him all the day long.There shall be abundance of grain in the earth upon the top of the mountains; The fruit thereof shall shake like Lebanon: And they of the city shall flourish like grass of the earth.His name shall endure for ever; His name shall be continued as long as the sun: And men shall be blessed in him; All nations shall call him happy.Blessed be Jehovah God, the God of Israel, Who only doeth wondrous things:And blessed be his glorious name for ever; And let the whole earth be filled with his glory. But thou, Beth- lehem Ephrathah, which art little to be among the thousands of Judah, out of thee shall one come forth unto me that is to be ruler in Israel; whose goings forth are from of old, from everlasting.

Tell of it, ye that ride on white asses, Ye that sit on rich carpets, And ye that walk by the way.

That I may show forth all thy praise. In the gates of the daughter of Zion I will rejoice in thy salvation.

and speak unto him, saying, Thus speaketh Jehovah of hosts, saying, Behold, the man whose name is the Branch: and he shall grow up out of his place; and he shall build the temple of Jehovah;even he shall build the temple of Jehovah; and he shall bear the glory, and shall sit and rule upon his throne; and he shall be a priest upon his throne; and the counsel of peace shall be between them both.

Where is he that is born King of the Jews? for we saw his star in the east, and are come to worship him.

My heart overfloweth with a goodly matter; I speak the things which I have made touching the king: My tongue is the pen of a ready writer.Thou art fairer than the children of men; Grace is poured into thy lips: Therefore God hath blessed thee for ever.Gird thy sword upon thy thigh, O mighty one, Thy glory and thy majesty.And in thy majesty ride on prosperously, Because of truth and meekness and righteousness: And thy right hand shall teach thee terrible things.Thine arrows are sharp; The peoples fall under thee; They are in the heart of the king’s enemies.Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: A sceptre of equity is the sceptre of thy kingdom.Thou hast loved righteousness, and hated wickedness: Therefore God, thy God, hath anointed thee With the oil of gladness above thy fellows.All thy garments smell of myrrh, and aloes, and cassia; Out of ivory palaces stringed instruments have made thee glad.Kings’ daughters are among thy honorable women: At thy right hand doth stand the queen in gold of Ophir.Hearken, O daughter, and consider, and incline thine ear; Forget also thine own people, and thy father’s house:So will the king desire thy beauty; For he is thy lord; and reverence thou him.And the daughter of Tyre shall be there with a gift; The rich among the people shall entreat thy favor.The king’s daughter within the palace is all glorious: Her clothing is inwrought with gold.She shall be led unto the king in broidered work: The virgins her companions that follow her Shall be brought unto thee.With gladness and rejoicing shall they be led: They shall enter into the king’s palace.Instead of thy fathers shall be thy children, Whom thou shalt make princes in all the earth.I will make thy name to be remembered in all generations: Therefore shall the peoples give thee thanks for ever and ever.

Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.

Yet I have set my king Upon my holy hill of Zion.I will tell of the decree: Jehovah said unto me, Thou art my son; This day have I begotten thee.Ask of me, and I will give thee the nations for thine inheritance, And the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession.Thou shalt break them with a rod of iron; Thou shalt dash them in pieces like a potter’s vessel.Now therefore be wise, O ye kings: Be instructed, ye judges of the earth.Serve Jehovah with fear, And rejoice with trembling.Kiss the son, lest he be angry, and ye perish in the way, For his wrath will soon be kindled. Blessed are all they that take refuge in him.

And it shall come to pass in that day, saith Jehovah, that I will cut off thy horses out of the midst of thee, and will destroy thy chariots:and I will cut off the cities of thy land, and will throw down all thy strongholds.

And the king said unto Ziba, What meanest thou by these? And Ziba said, The asses are for the king’s household to ride on; and the bread and summer fruit for the young men to eat; and the wine, that such as are faint in the wilderness may drink.

And thou Bethlehem, land of Judah, Art in no wise least among the princes of Judah: For out of thee shall come forth a governor, Who shall be shepherd of my people Israel.

And the king said unto them, Take with you the servants of your lord, and cause Solomon my son to ride upon mine own mule, and bring him down to Gihon:

And out of Jacob shall one have dominion, And shall destroy the remnant from the city.

Only he shall not multiply horses to himself, nor cause the people to return to Egypt, to the end that he may multiply horses; forasmuch as Jehovah hath said unto you, Ye shall henceforth return no more that way.

I saw in the night- visions, and, behold, there came with the clouds of heaven one like unto a son of man, and he came even to the ancient of days, and they brought him near before him.And there was given him dominion, and glory, and a kingdom, that all the peoples, nations, and languages should serve him: his dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and his kingdom that which shall not be destroyed.

He shall not strive, nor cry aloud; Neither shall any one hear his voice in the streets.A bruised reed shall he not break, And smoking flax shall he not quench, Till he send forth judgment unto victory.

And he had forty sons and thirty sons’ sons, that rode on threescore and ten ass colts: and he judged Israel eight years.

Jehovah saith unto my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand, Until I make thine enemies thy footstool.Jehovah will send forth the rod of thy strength out of Zion: Rule thou in the midst of thine enemies.Thy people offer themselves willingly In the day of thy power, in holy array: Out of the womb of the morning Thou hast the dew of thy youth.Jehovah hath sworn, and will not repent: Thou art a priest for ever After the order of Melchizedek.

And they went away, and found a colt tied at the door without in the open street; and they loose him.And certain of them that stood there said unto them, What do ye, loosing the colt?And they said unto them even as Jesus had said: and they let them go.And they bring the colt unto Jesus, and cast on him their garments; and he sat upon him.And many spread their garments upon the way; and others branches, which they had cut from the fields.And they that went before, and they that followed, cried, Hosanna; Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord:Blessed is the kingdom that cometh, the kingdom of our father David: Hosanna in the highest.And he entered into Jerusalem, into the temple; and when he had looked round about upon all things, it being now eventide, he went out unto Bethany with the twelve.

And Solomon gathered together chariots and horsemen: and he had a thousand and four hundred chariots, and twelve thousand horsemen, that he bestowed in the chariot cities, and with the king at Jerusalem.

Nathanael answered him, Rabbi, thou art the Son of God; thou art King of Israel.

They therefore cried out, Away with him, away with him, crucify him! Pilate saith unto them, Shall I crucify your King? The chief priests answered, We have no king but Cæsar.Then therefore he delivered him unto them to be crucified.They took Jesus therefore: and he went out, bearing the cross for himself, unto the place called The place of a skull, which is called in Hebrew Golgotha:where they crucified him, and with him two others, on either side one, and Jesus in the midst.And Pilate wrote a title also, and put it on the cross. And there was written, JESUS OF NAZARETH, THE KING OF THE JEWS.This title therefore read many of the Jews, for the place where Jesus was crucified was nigh to the city; and it was written in Hebrew, and in Latin, and in Greek.The chief priests of the Jews therefore said to Pilate, Write not, The King of the Jews; but, that he said, I am King of the Jews.Pilate answered, What I have written I have written.

Now I Paul myself entreat you by the meekness and gentleness of Christ, I who in your presence am lowly among you, but being absent am of good courage toward you:
