Meanwhile Jesus stood before the governor, and the governor asked him,“ Are you the king of the Jews?”“ You have said so,” Jesus replied.

Jesus was standing in front of the governor. The governor asked him,“ Are you the king of the Jews?”“ Yes. You have said so,” Jesus replied.

Now Jesus stood before the governor, and the governor asked him,“ Are you the King of the Jews?” Jesus said,“ You have said so.”

Now Jesus was standing before Pilate, the Roman governor.“ Are you the king of the Jews?” the governor asked him. Jesus replied,“ You have said it.”

Now Jesus stood before the governor.“ Are you the king of the Jews?” the governor asked him. Jesus answered,“ You say so.”

Now Jesus stood before the governor, and the governor questioned Him, saying,“ So You are the King of the Jews?” And Jesus said to him,“ It is as you say.”

『查得此人、煽惑我民、禁人納稅於凱撒、自稱受命之王。』比辣多乃問耶穌曰：『爾為猶太人之王乎？』耶穌對曰：『爾言之矣。』

『適生猶太人之王何在？吾儕既見其星於東方、特來朝拜。』

我在涵育萬物之天主前、復在作證於般雀‧比拉多治下之基督耶穌前、剴切諭汝、

鬻主之徒茹答斯、起而問曰：『辣比、豈予乎？』耶穌曰：『爾言之矣。』

比辣多問之曰：『爾果為猶太人之王乎？』耶穌答曰：『爾言之矣！』大司祭呈控多端、比辣多復問之曰：『爾尚不作答辯乎？不聞人之縷縷控若耶？』而耶穌仍不答。比辣多不勝詫異。

耶穌曰：『爾言之矣。第予告爾、爾將見人子坐於全能者之右、自天駕雲而降。』

比辣多乃出而問曰：『爾曹控此人何事？』眾應曰：『苟非惡類、必不解之爾前。』比辣多曰：『爾曹可帶回、依爾律法自為處理。』猶太人對曰：『吾人無權處人以死。』耶穌曾預示其致命之情形、於是驗矣。比辣多復入督轅、傳耶穌而問曰：『汝果為猶太人之王乎？』耶穌曰：『此爾自言之乎？抑有人語爾耶？』比辣多曰：『予非猶太人、汝之國人及司祭諸長、將汝交予、汝果犯何罪？』耶穌曰：『吾國不屬斯世苟屬斯世、則吾之臣僕必群起以抗拒之、吾亦何至落於猶太人之手；正惟吾國不在茲耳。』比辣多曰：『然則汝果王乎？』耶穌曰：『爾言之矣、予固王也。我正為此而生、為此而降世、俾為真理作證；凡植根於真理者、必諳吾音。』比辣多應曰：『何謂真理？』言竟復出、而告猶太人曰：『吾未見其罪也。

弟能及師、僕能如主、足矣；家主且被人呼為魔王、況家人乎？

耶穌曰：『是也！行見人子坐於全能者之右、駕雲而臨矣！』

為我之故、解爾至有司與君王之前、對若輩及萬民、為吾作證。
