彼拉多對他們說：「你們有一隊衛兵，盡你們所能，嚴密看守吧！」

彼拉多曰、爾有守兵、往盡乃心、固守之、

彼拉多謂之曰、予爾守兵、或作爾有守兵可往、隨爾意固守之、

比辣多曰：『爾曹自有守卒、好自為之。』

“ Take a guard,” Pilate answered.“ Go, make the tomb as secure as you know how.”

“ Take some guards with you,” Pilate answered.“ Go. Make the tomb as secure as you can.”

Pilate said to them,“ You have a guard of soldiers. Go, make it as secure as you can.”

Pilate replied,“ Take guards and secure it the best you can.”

“ Take guards,” Pilate told them.“ Go and make it as secure as you know how.”

Pilate said to them,“ You have a guard; go, make it as secure as you know how.”

Pilate said to them,“ You have a guard; go your way, make it as secure as you know how.”

“ You have a guard of soldiers,” Pilate told them.“ Go and make it as secure as you know how.”

Pilate said unto them, Ye have a watch: go your way, make[ it] as sure as ye can.

So they went, and made the sepulchre sure, sealing the stone, the guard being with them.

Now while they were going, behold, some of the guard came into the city, and told unto the chief priests all the things that were come to pass.And when they were assembled with the elders, and had taken counsel, they gave much money unto the soldiers,saying, Say ye, His disciples came by night, and stole him away while we slept.And if this come to the governor’s ears, we will persuade him, and rid you of care.So they took the money, and did as they were taught: and this saying was spread abroad among the Jews, and continueth until this day.

There is no wisdom nor understanding Nor counsel against Jehovah.

Surely the wrath of man shall praise thee: The residue of wrath shalt thou gird upon thee.
