泣時、俯窺墓中、見二白衣天神、坐於耶穌安寢原處、一在首、一在足、二天神謂瑪麗曰：『女子、何泣為？』對曰：『以人移去吾主、不知置諸何處。』

彼等且逆知其所預言諸事、非為本身、乃為爾等。凡此奧義、即眾天神亦渴欲一窺、而爾曹則因布道者憑天主所遣聖神之靈感、而得諦聽矣

見墓門之石已開、既進、不見主耶穌遺體、正疑訝間、倏有二人立於其側、衣光閃耀、諸婦驚怖伏地。二人謂之曰：『胡為覓求生者於死人之中？

正相語曰：『誰能為我拓石、一展墓門乎？』舉目一望、則見墓石已展、固塊然重物也。進則見一白衣少年坐墓石、大驚。

獄吏驚寤、驟睹獄門洞開、度諸犯已逸、拔刀圖自刎。

嗚呼、聖道之玄妙、不亦浩浩其天、淵淵其淵乎哉！所謂玄妙者無他、即現於肉身、證於聖神、見於天神、傳於兆民、信於普世、而躋於光榮者也。

霎時殿幔徹上徹下自裂為二。地震石裂、諸塚自開、而已故諸聖、多有甦者。迨耶穌復活後出自塚中、入於聖邑、人多見之。

當時、天主聖殿、洞開於天；結約之櫃、見於殿中；雷霆霹靂、眾聲並作、大地震顫、天降大雹。
