耶稣一从水里上来，就看见诸天裂开了，圣灵好像鸽子降临在他身上。

耶和华的灵必停留在那一位身上，就是智慧和悟性的灵，谋略和大能的灵，知识和敬畏耶和华的灵。

有一次，当民众都来受洗的时候，耶稣也受了洗。他正在祷告，天开了，圣灵好像鸽子，有形有体地降临在他身上，并且有声音从天上传来，说：“你是我的爱子，我喜悦你。”

我以前也不认识他，但为了让他向以色列显明，所以我来用水施洗。”约翰又见证说：“我看到圣灵好像鸽子从天上降临，停留在他身上。我以前也不认识他，可是那派我用水施洗的对我说：‘如果你看见圣灵降临在谁身上，又停留在谁身上，谁就是用圣灵施洗的那一位。’我看到了，就见证：这一位就是神的儿子。”

“看哪，我的仆人——我所扶持、我所拣选、我心所喜悦的！我已经把我的灵赐给他，他必给列国带来公正。

他说：“看哪，我看见诸天开了，人子站在神的右边。”

主耶和华的灵在我身上，因为耶和华膏抹我，要我传好消息给卑微的人；他派遣我去治愈心灵破碎的人，去宣告被掳的得自由、被囚的得释放，

神所差派的那一位，就说神的话语，因为神不靠着量度赐下圣灵。

他是身体的头，就是教会的头，他是元始，是从死人中首先复活的，为要使他能在万有中居首位，因为父乐意使一切的丰盛完美都住在他里面，

耶和华说：“至于我，我与他们所立的约就是：那在你身上的我的灵、我放在你口中的我的话，必不离开你的口，也不离开你后裔的口以及你后裔之后裔的口；从今直到永远！”这是耶和华说的。
