永恆主的靈必住在他身上，就是智慧和明達之靈，謀略和能力之靈，認識和敬畏永恆主的靈。

眾民受了洗禮以後、耶穌也受了洗；正禱告的時候、天開了；聖靈取了身體的形狀降下來、彷彿鴿子、在他上頭；有聲音從天上來，說：『你是我所愛的兒子，我喜悅了你。』

我從前也不認識他；但是為要使他向以色列顯明出來；故此我來用水施洗。』約翰作見證說：『我見過聖靈、彷彿鴿子、從天上降下，停在耶穌上頭。我從前也不認識他；但那差我用水施洗的對我說：「你看見靈降下、停在誰上頭，誰就是那用聖靈施洗的。」我看見了，就見證這一位是上帝所揀選的。』

看哪，我的僕人，我所扶持，所揀選，我心裏所喜悅的；我將我的靈賜於他身上，他必將正義傳出到列國。

就說：『看哪，我看見天敞開着，人子站在上帝的右邊呢。』

主永恆主的靈在我身上；因為永恆主用膏油膏了我，叫我傳好信息給困苦的人，差遣我去綁紮心裏破碎的，給被擄的宣告自由，給被囚的宣告開釋，

上帝所差遣的那一位講上帝的話語；因為上帝賜聖靈、總無限量。

他是身體、教會、的頭；他是元始，是從死人中首先活起來的首生者，好使他在萬事上居首位，因為上帝早就樂意使完全豐滿都住在他裏面；

第三十年四月初五日、我在迦巴魯河邊流亡人之中，天開了，我看見關於上帝的異象。

『至於我呢、永恆主說，以下這個就是我跟他們立的約：我的靈、那加於你身上的、我的話、那放在你口中的、必不離開你的口，不離開你後裔的口，也不離開你後裔之後裔的口，從今時直到永遠：這是永恆主說的。』
