他们来到迦百农。安息日一到，耶稣就进了会堂教导人。

而你——迦百农啊，你将被高举到天上吗？不，你将下到阴间。因为在你中间行过的神迹，如果行在所多玛，它就会存留到今天。

但耶稣从他们中间穿过去，走开了。耶稣下到加利利的一个城迦百农去，在安息日教导人。

这样，众人一发现耶稣已经不在那里，连他的门徒们也不在那里，就上了船，往迦百农去找耶稣。

这些话是耶稣在迦百农教导人的时候，在会堂里说的。

他们上了船，开始渡过湖往迦百农去。原来天色已经黑了，而耶稣还没有来到他们那里。

耶稣对他们说：“你们一定会用这句谚语对我说：‘医生啊，使你自己痊愈吧！’，‘我们听见在迦百农所发生的事，你在你的家乡这里也应该做！’”

他们来到迦百农，那些收圣殿税的人来到彼得那里，说：“你们的老师不纳圣殿税吗？”

这事以后，耶稣和他的母亲、兄弟以及他的门徒们，都下到迦百农去，在那里住了几天。
