He sat down and taught the multitudes from the boat.When he had finished speaking, he said to Simon,“ Put out into the deep, and let down your nets for a catch.”Simon answered him,“ Master, we worked all night, and took nothing; but at your word I will let down the net.”When they had done this, they caught a great multitude of fish, and their net was breaking.They beckoned to their partners in the other boat, that they should come and help them. They came, and filled both boats, so that they began to sink.But Simon Peter, when he saw it, fell down at Jesus’ knees, saying,“ Depart from me, for I am a sinful man, Lord.”For he was amazed, and all who were with him, at the catch of fish which they had caught;and so also were James and John, sons of Zebedee, who were partners with Simon. Jesus said to Simon,“ Don’t be afraid. From now on you will be catching people alive.”When they had brought their boats to land, they left everything, and followed him.

I also tell you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my assembly, and the gates of Hades will not prevail against it.

After these things, Jesus went away to the other side of the sea of Galilee, which is also called the Sea of Tiberias.

the Arabah also, and the Jordan and its border, from Chinnereth even to the sea of the Arabah, the Salt Sea, under the slopes of Pisgah eastward.

The border shall go down from Shepham to Riblah, on the east side of Ain. The border shall go down, and shall reach to the side of the sea of Chinnereth eastward.

After these things, Jesus revealed himself again to the disciples at the sea of Tiberias. He revealed himself this way.

So he departed from there, and found Elisha the son of Shaphat, who was plowing with twelve yoke of oxen before him, and he with the twelfth. Elijah went over to him, and put his mantle on him.Elisha left the oxen, and ran after Elijah, and said,“ Let me please kiss my father and my mother, and then I will follow you.” He said to him,“ Go back again; for what have I done to you?”He returned from following him, and took the yoke of oxen, and killed them, and boiled their meat with the instruments of the oxen, and gave to the people, and they ate. Then he arose, and went after Elijah, and served him.

He also chose David his servant, and took him from the sheepfolds;from following the ewes that have their young, he brought him to be the shepherd of Jacob, his people, and Israel, his inheritance.So he was their shepherd according to the integrity of his heart, and guided them by the skillfulness of his hands.

Again he departed from the borders of Tyre and Sidon, and came to the sea of Galilee, through the middle of the region of Decapolis.

Now Moses was keeping the flock of Jethro, his father- in- law, the priest of Midian, and he led the flock to the back of the wilderness, and came to God’s mountain, to Horeb.

Yahweh’s angel came and sat under the oak which was in Ophrah, that belonged to Joash the Abiezrite. His son Gideon was beating out wheat in the wine press, to hide it from the Midianites.Yahweh’s angel appeared to him, and said to him,“ Yahweh is with you, you mighty man of valor!”

but God chose the foolish things of the world that he might put to shame those who are wise. God chose the weak things of the world that he might put to shame the things that are strong.God chose the lowly things of the world, and the things that are despised, and the things that don’t exist, that he might bring to nothing the things that exist,that no flesh should boast before God.

Come now therefore, and I will send you to Pharaoh, that you may bring my people, the children of Israel, out of Egypt.”

One of his disciples, Andrew, Simon Peter’s brother, said to him,

Then Amos answered Amaziah,“ I was no prophet, neither was I a prophet’s son; but I was a herdsman, and a farmer of sycamore figs;and Yahweh took me from following the flock, and Yahweh said to me,‘ Go, prophesy to my people Israel.’
