也是：「絆腳石和使人跌倒的磐石。」他們跌倒是因為他們不順服真道，這種下場早已註定了。

得到五千銀幣的奴僕帶來了另外的五千，說，『主人，你交給我五千銀幣，請看，我又賺了五千。』

凡對我沒有失去信心的人有福了！」

誰使一個卑微的弟兄失足犯罪，他的下場比把大磨石拴在他脖子上扔到海裡還要慘。

正如聖經上說：「看啊！我在錫安放了一塊絆腳石，一塊使人跌倒的磐石。但信靠祂的人必不致蒙羞。」

我告訴你們應該懼怕誰，要懼怕上帝——祂有權終結人的生命，並把人丟在地獄裡。是的，我告訴你們，要懼怕祂！

耶穌對門徒說：「今天晚上，你們都要離棄我。因為聖經上說，『我要擊打牧人，羊群將四散。』

但不論誰使這樣一個小信徒失足犯罪，他的下場比把大磨石拴在他脖子上沉到深海裡還要慘。這世界有禍了！因為裡面充滿了引人犯罪的事。這樣的事是免不了的，但那些引人犯罪的人有禍了！

但因為他心裡沒有根基，不過是暫時接受，一旦為道遭受患難或迫害，就立刻放棄了信仰；

王便吩咐侍從，『把他手腳綁起來丟到外面的黑暗裡，讓他在那裡哀哭切齒。』」

耶穌立刻轉過身來責備彼得說：「撒旦，退到我後面去！你是我的絆腳石，因為你不考慮上帝的意思，只考慮人的意思。」

不可因食物的問題而破壞上帝的工作。所有的食物固然都是潔淨的，但人若因所吃的食物絆倒別人，就有罪了。無論是吃肉、喝酒還是做任何別的事，如果會絆倒別人，就應該一概不做。

所以，如果我吃某些食物會令我的弟兄在信仰上跌倒，我就情願永遠不吃，免得令他們跌倒。

弟兄姊妹，如果我仍舊主張行割禮，怎麼還會受迫害呢？如果是那樣，十字架冒犯人的地方就被消除了。
