夫以爾之不仁、尚知以美物貽爾子女、況爾在天之父、詎能不賜求之者以佳惠乎？

If you, then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask him!

Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom can be no variation, neither shadow that is cast by turning.

And of which of you that is a father shall his son ask a loaf, and he give him a stone? or a fish, and he for a fish give him a serpent?Or if he shall ask an egg, will he give him a scorpion?If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him?

For Jehovah God is a sun and a shield: Jehovah will give grace and glory; No good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly.

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth on him should not perish, but have eternal life.

And you did he make alive, when ye were dead through your trespasses and sins,wherein ye once walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the powers of the air, of the spirit that now worketh in the sons of disobedience;among whom we also all once lived in the lusts of our flesh, doing the desires of the flesh and of the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, even as the rest:—but God, being rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us,even when we were dead through our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ( by grace have ye been saved),

But thou, O Lord, art a God merciful and gracious, Slow to anger, and abundant in lovingkindness and truth.

For thou, Lord, art good, and ready to forgive, And abundant in lovingkindness unto all them that call upon thee.

And Jehovah smelled the sweet savor; and Jehovah said in his heart, I will not again curse the ground any more for man’s sake, for that the imagination of man’s heart is evil from his youth; neither will I again smite any more everything living, as I have done.

And Jehovah saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.

And God is able to make all grace abound unto you; that ye, having always all sufficiency in everything, may abound unto every good work:as it is written, He hath scattered abroad, he hath given to the poor; His righteousness abideth for ever.And he that supplieth seed to the sower and bread for food, shall supply and multiply your seed for sowing, and increase the fruits of your righteousness:ye being enriched in everything unto all liberality, which worketh through us thanksgiving to God.For the ministration of this service not only filleth up the measure of the wants of the saints, but aboundeth also through many thanksgivings unto God;seeing that through the proving of you by this ministration they glorify God for the obedience of your confession unto the gospel of Christ, and for the liberality of your contribution unto them and unto all;while they themselves also, with supplication on your behalf, long after you by reason of the exceeding grace of God in you.Thanks be to God for his unspeakable gift.

Can a woman forget her sucking child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? yea, these may forget, yet will not I forget thee.

Who is a God like unto thee, that pardoneth iniquity, and passeth over the transgression of the remnant of his heritage? he retaineth not his anger for ever, because he delighteth in lovingkindness.

For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith Jehovah.For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.

And Jehovah passed by before him, and proclaimed, Jehovah, Jehovah, a God merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and abundant in lovingkindness and truth,keeping lovingkindness for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin; and that will by no means clear the guilty, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children, and upon the children’s children, upon the third and upon the fourth generation.

But God commendeth his own love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.Much more then, being now justified by his blood, shall we be saved from the wrath of God through him.For if, while we were enemies, we were reconciled to God through the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, shall we be saved by his life;

How shall I give thee up, Ephraim? how shall I cast thee off, Israel? how shall I make thee as Admah? how shall I set thee as Zeboiim? my heart is turned within me, my compassions are kindled together.I will not execute the fierceness of mine anger, I will not return to destroy Ephraim: for I am God, and not man; the Holy One in the midst of thee; and I will not come in wrath.

Now we know that what things soever the law saith, it speaketh to them that are under the law; that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may be brought under the judgment of God:

And this was yet a small thing in thine eyes, O Lord Jehovah; but thou hast spoken also of thy servant’s house for a great while to come; and this too after the manner of men, O Lord Jehovah!

For as the heavens are high above the earth, So great is his lovingkindness toward them that fear him.As far as the east is from the west, So far hath he removed our transgressions from us.Like as a father pitieth his children, So Jehovah pitieth them that fear him.

Behold, the days come, saith Jehovah, that I will perform that good word which I have spoken concerning the house of Israel and concerning the house of Judah.

Take with you words, and return unto Jehovah: say unto him, Take away all iniquity, and accept that which is good: so will we render as bullocks the offering of our lips.

The heart is deceitful above all things, and it is exceedingly corrupt: who can know it?

But the scripture shut up all things under sin, that the promise by faith in Jesus Christ might be given to them that believe.

How much less one that is abominable and corrupt, A man that drinketh iniquity like water!

For we also once were foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving divers lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful, hating one another.But when the kindness of God our Saviour, and his love toward man, appeared,not by works done in righteousness, which we did ourselves, but according to his mercy he saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit,which he poured out upon us richly, through Jesus Christ our Saviour;that, being justified by his grace, we might be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.

Yea, Jehovah will give that which is good; And our land shall yield its increase.
