雨降潦行、颶風倏起、相與衝而擊之、而其屋屹然不動者、其基固也。

The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had its foundation on the rock.

堅心忍受試煉的人是有福的；因為他既被試驗為良好，便可得着生命的華冠，就是上帝應許給愛他的人的。

這是要叫你們的信心被試驗為及格的、比那經火試驗還能銷滅的金子更寶貴得多多的、可以在耶穌基督顯示之時見為蒙受稱讚榮耀和尊重的。

倚靠永恆主的好像錫安山、總不搖動。耶路撒冷永遠坐鎮着，有眾山圍護着她；永恆主也圍護着他的人民、從今時直到永遠。

（你們又是憑着信心、在上帝的能力中蒙守護）來得拯救，就是準備要在末後的時期才顯示出來的。

在他裏面扎了根，而建造起來，在你們所受教的信仰上堅固，有滿溢的感謝心。

每一個人的建築物必顯出來：那日子必指明它是在火裏被顯露的：每一個人的建築物是哪一種、火必試驗出來。人的建築物、他在根基上所建造的、若存得住，他就得到賞報；人的建築物若燒掉了，他就受虧損；自己卻要得救，不過好像從火中經過一樣罷了。

堅固門徒的心，鼓勵他們要堅守信仰。又說我們要進上帝的國、經由許多苦難是必須的。』

所以你要對那些塗抹灰水的人說：那牆是一定倒下來的；必有大雨漫過；大冰雹必降下來！狂風必暴發。看吧，這牆倒下來之後，人豈不指着它而問你們說：「你們塗抹的灰水在哪裏呢？」因此主永恆主這麼說：我一定要在我烈怒中使狂風暴發起來；在我忿怒中必有大雨漫過；大冰雹必在烈怒中降下來毁滅這牆。我必這樣拆毁這牆、就是你們用灰水所塗抹過的，使它坍到平地，以致根基都露現出來；牆一倒壞，你們也必在那中間滅盡；你們就知道我乃是永恆主。我必這樣向這牆、並向那用灰水抹牆的人、發盡我的烈怒；我要對你們說：牆沒有了！抹牆的人也沒有了！這抹牆的就是以色列的神言人，他們指着耶路撒冷而傳神言，為了這城見了異象，說有平安，其實沒有平安：這是主永恆主發神諭說的。

移植於永恆主的殿中，他們發旺於我們的上帝的院子裏。他們年老時仍然結果子；滿了汁漿、而長青翠，好宣揚永恆主是正直，是我的磐石：在他毫無不義。

他必坐着、作為熬煉銀子、使它潔淨者；他必使利未人潔淨，他必精煉他們像金子、像銀子，直到他們用對的供物獻與永恆主。

我還告訴你，你是石頭彼得；在這磐石上我要建立我的教會，陰間的門戶必沒有力量勝過她。

使基督憑着你們的信住在你們心裏，使你們既已扎根立基在愛中，
