Then he said to his disciples,“ The harvest is abundant, but the workers are few.

For we are God’s coworkers. You are God’s field, God’s building.

“ Don’t you say,‘ There are still four more months, and then comes the harvest’? Listen to what I’m telling you: Open your eyes and look at the fields, because they are ready for harvest.The reaper is already receiving pay and gathering fruit for eternal life, so that the sower and reaper can rejoice together.

Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,

and repentance for forgiveness of sins will be proclaimed in his name to all the nations, beginning at Jerusalem.

During the night Paul had a vision in which a Macedonian man was standing and pleading with him,“ Cross over to Macedonia and help us!”

Working together with him, we also appeal to you,“ Don’t receive the grace of God in vain.”

The Lord gave the command; a great company of women brought the good news:

The elders who are good leaders are to be considered worthy of double honor, especially those who work hard at preaching and teaching.

Now we ask you, brothers and sisters, to give recognition to those who labor among you and lead you in the Lord and admonish you,and to regard them very highly in love because of their work. Be at peace among yourselves.

and so does Jesus who is called Justus. These alone of the circumcised are my coworkers for the kingdom of God, and they have been a comfort to me.

Now I hope in the Lord Jesus to send Timothy to you soon so that I too may be encouraged by news about you.For I have no one else like-minded who will genuinely care about your interests;all seek their own interests, not those of Jesus Christ.

For I am with you, and no one will lay a hand on you to hurt you, because I have many people in this city.”
