有攜孩提就耶穌者、欲其捫之、門徒見而責之、耶穌呼之來、曰、容孩提就我、勿禁之、蓋屬上帝國者、乃如是人也、

宜如甫生之嬰、戀純而合宜之乳、使爾由之漸長、以至蒙救、

故自謙如此孩提者、於天國為大也、

且自幼穉識聖書、能使爾智、以致拯救、由於信之在基督耶穌中者、

我必賦以一心一道、致恆寅畏我、俾彼及厥裔、得獲福祉、我與之立永約、錫以福祉、不轉離之、使其存心寅畏我、而不我離、

怒勿干罪、勿銜怒至日落、

爾為先知之子孫、承上帝與爾列祖所立之約、謂亞伯拉罕曰、天下諸族、將由爾裔獲福、

其徒雅各約翰見之、曰、主欲我令火自天而降、以滅之乎、耶穌顧而責之、遂往他鄉、○

爾之子女妻室、營中賓旅、自採薪者、及汲水者、俱立於爾上帝耶和華前、使爾與於爾上帝耶和華之約與誓、即其今日與爾所立者、

因所許者、歸爾、及爾子孫、並諸遠人、即凡主我上帝將召者、

我不隱於其子孫、必以耶和華之聲譽、能力奇行、宣於後世兮、

耶穌回顧門徒、責彼得曰、撒但退、以爾不體上帝之事、乃體人之事耳、

願耶和華使爾日益繁衍、爰及子孫兮、造天地之耶和華、錫嘏於爾兮、

以福音言、彼因爾而為敵、以選擇言、因列祖而見愛、

我必與爾及爾歷世苗裔、立我永約、為爾及爾苗裔之上帝、

蓋念爾衷無偽之信、即昔於爾祖母羅以及爾母友尼基者、我深信於爾亦然、

夫初薦之麵聖、其團亦聖、樹之根聖、其枝亦聖、

其所為者不徒勞、其所生者不遘禍、蓋彼為耶和華錫嘏之裔、其子孫亦與共焉、

因愛爾祖、選其後裔、施厥大能、親導爾出埃及、

爾中男子、咸宜受割、即我賜爾及爾後裔、所必守之約、爾必受割、為我與爾立約之徵、爾歷世男子、或生於爾家、或購自異邦、非爾苗裔、既生八日、皆必受割、家所生者、金所購者、俱必受割、我約加於爾躬、以為永約、惟男子不受割者、是背我約、必絕之民中、○

耶穌怒而環視之、憂其心頑也、語手枯者曰、伸爾手、伸之、即愈、

爾之幼穉、爾言將被虜者、我必導入、得識爾所蔑視之土、

兄弟乎、於心志勿為孩提、於惡慝當為赤子、於心志則為成人、

其口無誑、亦無瑕疵也、○

蓋不信之夫以婦聖、不信之婦以夫聖、不然、則子女不潔、今俱聖矣、

許願曰、萬軍之耶和華歟、如爾垂顧婢苦、憶我弗忘、賜婢生男、則必奉之耶和華、至於畢生、薙髮之刀、不加其首、

惟哈拿不往、謂其夫曰、俟子斷乳、我將攜之覲耶和華、使恆居其所、

我為此子而禱、耶和華允我所求、我奉之耶和華、使其歸耶和華、至於畢生、遂在彼崇拜耶和華、
