Then you will have treasure in heaven; then come, follow me.”But when he heard these things, he became very sad, for he was very rich.Jesus, seeing that he became very sad, said,“ How hard it is for those who have riches to enter into God’s Kingdom!For it is easier for a camel to enter in through a needle’s eye than for a rich man to enter into God’s Kingdom.”Those who heard it said,“ Then who can be saved?”But he said,“ The things which are impossible with men are possible with God.”Peter said,“ Look, we have left everything and followed you.”He said to them,“ Most certainly I tell you, there is no one who has left house, or wife, or brothers, or parents, or children, for God’s Kingdom’s sake,who will not receive many times more in this time, and in the world to come, eternal life.”

But if you want to enter into life, keep the commandments.”He said to him,“ Which ones?” Jesus said,“‘ You shall not murder.’‘ You shall not commit adultery.’‘ You shall not steal.’‘ You shall not offer false testimony.’‘ Honor your father and your mother.’ And,‘ You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’”The young man said to him,“ All these things I have observed from my youth. What do I still lack?”Jesus said to him,“ If you want to be perfect, go, sell what you have, and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow me.”But when the young man heard the saying, he went away sad, for he was one who had great possessions.Jesus said to his disciples,“ Most certainly I say to you, a rich man will enter into the Kingdom of Heaven with difficulty.Again I tell you, it is easier for a camel to go through a needle’s eye, than for a rich man to enter into God’s Kingdom.”When the disciples heard it, they were exceedingly astonished, saying,“ Who then can be saved?”Looking at them, Jesus said,“ With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”Then Peter answered,“ Behold, we have left everything, and followed you. What then will we have?”Jesus said to them,“ Most certainly I tell you that you who have followed me, in the regeneration when the Son of Man will sit on the throne of his glory, you also will sit on twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.Everyone who has left houses, or brothers, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my name’s sake, will receive one hundred times, and will inherit eternal life.But many will be last who are first; and first who are last.

to those who by perseverance in well- doing seek for glory, honor, and incorruptibility, eternal life;

The same came to him by night, and said to him,“ Rabbi, we know that you are a teacher come from God, for no one can do these signs that you do, unless God is with him.”

They departed quickly from the tomb with fear and great joy, and ran to bring his disciples word.

Don’t work for the food which perishes, but for the food which remains to eternal life, which the Son of Man will give to you. For God the Father has sealed him.”They said therefore to him,“ What must we do, that we may work the works of God?”

When Jesus saw that a multitude came running together, he rebuked the unclean spirit, saying to him,“ You mute and deaf spirit, I command you, come out of him, and never enter him again!”

This is the will of the one who sent me, that everyone who sees the Son, and believes in him, should have eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day.”

Now, brothers, I entrust you to God and to the word of his grace, which is able to build up, and to give you the inheritance among all those who are sanctified.

For I testify about them that they have a zeal for God, but not according to knowledge.For being ignorant of God’s righteousness, and seeking to establish their own righteousness, they didn’t subject themselves to the righteousness of God.For Christ is the fulfillment of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes.

For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

This is the promise which he promised us, the eternal life.
