Then James and John, the sons of Zebedee, came to him.“ Teacher,” they said,“ we want you to do for us whatever we ask.”

James and John came to Jesus. They were the sons of Zebedee.“ Teacher,” they said,“ we would like to ask you for a favor.”

And James and John, the sons of Zebedee, came up to him and said to him,“ Teacher, we want you to do for us whatever we ask of you.”

Then James and John, the sons of Zebedee, came over and spoke to him.“ Teacher,” they said,“ we want you to do us a favor.”

James and John, the sons of Zebedee, approached him and said,“ Teacher, we want you to do whatever we ask you.”

James and John, the two sons of Zebedee,* came up to Jesus, saying to Him,“ Teacher, we want You to do for us whatever we ask of You.”

Then James and John, the sons of Zebedee, came to Him, saying,“ Teacher, we want You to do for us whatever we ask.”

And there come near unto him James and John, the sons of Zebedee, saying unto him, Teacher, we would that thou shouldest do for us whatsoever we shall ask of thee.

Then James and John, the sons of Zebedee, approached Him and said,“ Teacher, we want You to do something for us if we ask You.”

And James and John, the sons of Zebedee, come unto him, saying, Master, we would that thou shouldest do for us whatsoever we shall desire.

Then James and John, the sons of Zebedee, came to him and said,“ Teacher, we want you to do for us whatever we ask.”

James and John, the sons of Zebedee, came near to him, saying,“ Teacher, we want you to do for us whatever we will ask.”

西庇太二子之母率其子就之、拜求一事、耶穌曰、爾何求、曰、命我二子坐於爾國、在爾左右、耶穌曰、爾曹所求者、爾不知也、我將飲之杯、爾能飲乎、曰、能、曰我之杯、爾必飲之、但坐我左右、非我得予、我父為誰備之、則誰予、十徒聞之、則憾兄弟二人、耶穌召之曰、異邦之君主其治、而大人執其權、爾所知也、惟爾曹不然、爾中欲為大者、當為爾役、欲為首者、當為爾僕、猶人子至、非以役人、乃役於人、且舍生為眾贖也、○

母曰、我有瑣事求爾、請勿拒、王曰、我母、請言之、我必不拒、

今有一事求爾、請毋辭、曰、其言之、

少進、見西庇太之子雅各、與其弟約翰、在舟補網、招之、遂別父及傭人於舟而從焉、○

遂攜彼得雅各約翰偕往、驚駭慘怛、

乃於彼得雅各及雅各之弟約翰外、不許他人從行、

提哥亞婦與王言時、伏地拜曰、王歟、助我、王曰、爾有何事、曰、我乃嫠婦、我夫已死、婢有二子、在田相鬥、排解無人、此擊彼而斃之、今舉家起而攻婢曰、擊昆弟者、當付於我、而致之死、以償所殺昆弟之命、而絕其嗣、如是、則滅我餘燼、不為我夫留名與後於世、王曰、爾歸、我將為爾下令、提哥亞婦曰、我主我王歟、罪歸於我、及我父家、王與國位、均無尤焉、王曰、凡咎爾者、攜至我前、彼必不復犯爾、婦曰、請王念爾上帝耶和華、不許報仇者復加殺害、免滅吾子、曰、我指維生之耶和華而誓、爾子之一髮、不隕於地、
