And as he went forth out of the temple, one of his disciples saith unto him, Teacher, behold, what manner of stones and what manner of buildings!

As Jesus was leaving the temple, one of his disciples said to him,“ Look, Teacher! What massive stones! What magnificent buildings!”

And as he came out of the temple, one of his disciples said to him,“ Look, Teacher, what wonderful stones and what wonderful buildings!”

As Jesus was leaving the Temple that day, one of his disciples said,“ Teacher, look at these magnificent buildings! Look at the impressive stones in the walls.”

As he was going out of the temple, one of his disciples said to him,“ Teacher, look! What massive stones! What impressive buildings!”

As He was going out of the temple, one of His disciples* said to Him,“ Teacher, look! What wonderful stones and what wonderful buildings!”

Then as He went out of the temple, one of His disciples said to Him,“ Teacher, see what manner of stones and what buildings are here!”

As He was going out of the temple complex, one of His disciples said to Him,“ Teacher, look! What massive stones! What impressive buildings!”

And as he went out of the temple, one of his disciples saith unto him, Master, see what manner of stones and what buildings[ are here]!

Now as Jesus was going out of the temple courts, one of his disciples said to him,“ Teacher, look at these tremendous stones and buildings!”

As he went out of the temple, one of his disciples said to him,“ Teacher, see what kind of stones and what kind of buildings!”

Then did the cherubim lift up their wings, and the wheels were beside them; and the glory of the God of Israel was over them above.And the glory of Jehovah went up from the midst of the city, and stood upon the mountain which is on the east side of the city.

And the glory of Jehovah mounted up from the cherub, and stood over the threshold of the house; and the house was filled with the cloud, and the court was full of the brightness of Jehovah’s glory.

Behold, I send my messenger, and he shall prepare the way before me: and the Lord, whom ye seek, will suddenly come to his temple; and the messenger of the covenant, whom ye desire, behold, he cometh, saith Jehovah of hosts.But who can abide the day of his coming? and who shall stand when he appeareth? for he is like a refiner’s fire, and like fullers’ soap:

As for the beauty of his ornament, he set it in majesty; but they made the images of their abominations and their detestable things therein: therefore have I made it unto them as an unclean thing.And I will give it into the hands of the strangers for a prey, and to the wicked of the earth for a spoil; and they shall profane it.My face will I turn also from them, and they shall profane my secret place; and robbers shall enter into it, and profane it.

And Jesus went out from the temple, and was going on his way; and his disciples came to him to show him the buildings of the temple.But he answered and said unto them, See ye not all these things? verily I say unto you, There shall not be left here one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.And as he sat on the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man lead you astray.For many shall come in my name, saying, I am the Christ; and shall lead many astray.And ye shall hear of wars and rumors of wars; see that ye be not troubled: for these things must needs come to pass; but the end is not yet.For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom; and there shall be famines and earthquakes in divers places.But all these things are the beginning of travail.Then shall they deliver you up unto tribulation, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all the nations for my name’s sake.And then shall many stumble, and shall deliver up one another, and shall hate one another.And many false prophets shall arise, and shall lead many astray.And because iniquity shall be multiplied, the love of the many shall wax cold.But he that endureth to the end, the same shall be saved.And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in the whole world for a testimony unto all the nations; and then shall the end come.When therefore ye see the abomination of desolation, which was spoken of through Daniel the prophet, standing in the holy place( let him that readeth understand),then let them that are in Judæa flee unto the mountains:let him that is on the housetop not go down to take out the things that are in his house:and let him that is in the field not return back to take his cloak.But woe unto them that are with child and to them that give suck in those days!And pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on a sabbath:for then shall be great tribulation, such as hath not been from the beginning of the world until now, no, nor ever shall be.And except those days had been shortened, no flesh would have been saved: but for the elect’s sake those days shall be shortened.Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is the Christ, or, Here; believe it not.For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall show great signs and wonders; so as to lead astray, if possible, even the elect.Behold, I have told you beforehand.If therefore they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the wilderness; go not forth: Behold, he is in the inner chambers; believe it not.For as the lightning cometh forth from the east, and is seen even unto the west; so shall be the coming of the Son of man.Wheresoever the carcase is, there will the eagles be gathered together.But immediately after the tribulation of those days the sun shall be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:and then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.And he shall send forth his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.Now from the fig tree learn her parable: when her branch is now become tender, and putteth forth its leaves, ye know that the summer is nigh;even so ye also, when ye see all these things, know ye that he is nigh, even at the doors.Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass away, till all these things be accomplished.Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.But of that day and hour knoweth no one, not even the angels of heaven, neither the Son, but the Father only.And as were the days of Noah, so shall be the coming of the Son of man.For as in those days which were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark,and they knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall be the coming of the Son of man.Then shall two men be in the field; one is taken, and one is left:two women shall be grinding at the mill; one is taken, and one is left.Watch therefore: for ye know not on what day your Lord cometh.But know this, that if the master of the house had known in what watch the thief was coming, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken through.Therefore be ye also ready; for in an hour that ye think not the Son of man cometh.Who then is the faithful and wise servant, whom his lord hath set over his household, to give them their food in due season?Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing.Verily I say unto you, that he will set him over all that he hath.But if that evil servant shall say in his heart, My lord tarrieth;and shall begin to beat his fellow- servants, and shall eat and drink with the drunken;the lord of that servant shall come in a day when he expecteth not, and in an hour when he knoweth not,and shall cut him asunder, and appoint his portion with the hypocrites: there shall be the weeping and the gnashing of teeth.

And the cherubim lifted up their wings, and mounted up from the earth in my sight when they went forth, and the wheels beside them: and they stood at the door of the east gate of Jehovah’s house; and the glory of the God of Israel was over them above.

And he said unto me, Son of man, seest thou what they do? even the great abominations that the house of Israel do commit here, that I should go far off from my sanctuary? But thou shalt again see yet other great abominations.

And as some spake of the temple, how it was adorned with goodly stones and offerings, he said,As for these things which ye behold, the days will come, in which there shall not be left here one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.And they asked him, saying, Teacher, when therefore shall these things be? and what shall be the sign when these things are about to come to pass?And he said, Take heed that ye be not led astray: for many shall come in my name, saying, I am he; and, The time is at hand: go ye not after them.And when ye shall hear of wars and tumults, be not terrified: for these things must needs come to pass first; but the end is not immediately.Then said he unto them, Nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom;and there shall be great earthquakes, and in divers places famines and pestilences; and there shall be terrors and great signs from heaven.But before all these things, they shall lay their hands on you, and shall persecute you, delivering you up to the synagogues and prisons, bringing you before kings and governors for my name’s sake.It shall turn out unto you for a testimony.Settle it therefore in your hearts, not to meditate beforehand how to answer:for I will give you a mouth and wisdom, which all your adversaries shall not be able to withstand or to gainsay.But ye shall be delivered up even by parents, and brethren, and kinsfolk, and friends; and some of you shall they cause to be put to death.And ye shall be hated of all men for my name’s sake.And not a hair of your head shall perish.In your patience ye shall win your souls.But when ye see Jerusalem compassed with armies, then know that her desolation is at hand.Then let them that are in Judæa flee unto the mountains; and let them that are in the midst of her depart out; and let not them that are in the country enter therein.For these are days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled.Woe unto them that are with child and to them that give suck in those days! for there shall be great distress upon the land, and wrath unto this people.And they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be led captive into all the nations: and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled.And there shall be signs in sun and moon and stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, in perplexity for the roaring of the sea and the billows;men fainting for fear, and for expectation of the things which are coming on the world: for the powers of the heavens shall be shaken.And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.But when these things begin to come to pass, look up, and lift up your heads; because your redemption draweth nigh.And he spake to them a parable: Behold the fig tree, and all the trees:when they now shoot forth, ye see it and know of your own selves that the summer is now nigh.Even so ye also, when ye see these things coming to pass, know ye that the kingdom of God is nigh.Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass away, till all things be accomplished.Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away.But take heed to yourselves, lest haply your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and that day come on you suddenly as a snare:for so shall it come upon all them that dwell on the face of all the earth.But watch ye at every season, making supplication, that ye may prevail to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.
