爾見先知但以理所言、殘賊可惡之物、立不當立之地、讀者當思之、時、在猶太者、當逃於山、

惟見慘無人道之事、入禁地（讀者其深味斯言、）則在猶太者當避入深山、

“ When you see‘ the abomination that causes desolation’ standing where it does not belong— let the reader understand— then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains.

“ You will see‘ the hated thing that destroys.’( Daniel 9:27; 11:31; 12:11) It will stand where it does not belong. The reader should understand this. Then those who are in Judea should escape to the mountains.

“ But when you see the abomination of desolation standing where he ought not to be( let the reader understand), then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains.

“ The day is coming when you will see the sacrilegious object that causes desecration standing where he should not be.”( Reader, pay attention!)“ Then those in Judea must flee to the hills.

But when ye see the abomination of desolation standing where he ought not( let him that readeth understand), then let them that are in Judæa flee unto the mountains:

But when ye shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing where it ought not,( let him that readeth understand,) then let them that be in Judaea flee to the mountains:

“ But when you see the abomination of desolation standing where it should not be( let the reader understand), then those in Judea must flee to the mountains.

“ From the time that the continual burnt offering is taken away, and the abomination that makes desolate set up, there will be one thousand two hundred ninety days.

He will make a firm covenant with many for one week. In the middle of the week he will cause the sacrifice and the offering to cease. On the wing of abominations will come one who makes desolate; and even to the full end, and that determined, wrath will be poured out on the desolate.”

“ Forces will stand on his part, and they will profane the sanctuary, even the fortress, and will take away the continual burnt offering. Then they will set up the abomination that makes desolate.

Here is wisdom. He who has understanding, let him calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man. His number is six hundred sixty- six.

The adversary has spread out his hand on all her pleasant things; for she has seen that the nations have entered into her sanctuary, concerning whom you commanded that they should not enter into your assembly.

Brothers, don’t be children in thoughts, yet in malice be babies, but in thoughts be mature.

“ But when you see Jerusalem surrounded by armies, then know that its desolation is at hand.Then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains. Let those who are in the middle of her depart. Let those who are in the country not enter therein.For these are days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled.Woe to those who are pregnant and to those who nurse infants in those days! For there will be great distress in the land, and wrath to this people.They will fall by the edge of the sword, and will be led captive into all the nations. Jerusalem will be trampled down by the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled.

Then I heard a holy one speaking; and another holy one said to that certain one who spoke,“ How long will the vision about the continual burnt offering, and the disobedience that makes desolate, to give both the sanctuary and the army to be trodden under foot be?”

The Lord Yahweh says,“ No foreigner, uncircumcised in heart and uncircumcised in flesh, shall enter into my sanctuary, of any foreigners who are among the children of Israel.

Philip ran to him, and heard him reading Isaiah the prophet, and said,“ Do you understand what you are reading?”He said,“ How can I, unless someone explains it to me?” He begged Philip to come up and sit with him.

Blessed is he who reads and those who hear the words of the prophecy, and keep the things that are written in it, for the time is at hand.

Jesus said to them,“ Have you understood all these things?” They answered him,“ Yes, Lord.”

“ When, therefore, you see the abomination of desolation, which was spoken of through Daniel the prophet, standing in the holy place( let the reader understand),then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains.Let him who is on the housetop not go down to take out the things that are in his house.Let him who is in the field not return back to get his clothes.But woe to those who are with child and to nursing mothers in those days!Pray that your flight will not be in the winter, nor on a Sabbath,for then there will be great suffering, such as has not been from the beginning of the world until now, no, nor ever will be.Unless those days had been shortened, no flesh would have been saved. But for the sake of the chosen ones, those days will be shortened.“ Then if any man tells you,‘ Behold, here is the Christ,’ or,‘ There,’ don’t believe it.For there will arise false christs, and false prophets, and they will show great signs and wonders, so as to lead astray, if possible, even the chosen ones.“ Behold, I have told you beforehand.If therefore they tell you,‘ Behold, he is in the wilderness,’ don’t go out; or‘ Behold, he is in the inner rooms,’ don’t believe it.For as the lightning flashes from the east, and is seen even to the west, so will the coming of the Son of Man be.For wherever the carcass is, that is where the vultures gather together.

Even things without life, giving a voice, whether pipe or harp, if they didn’t give a distinction in the sounds, how would it be known what is piped or harped?For if the trumpet gave an uncertain sound, who would prepare himself for war?
