耶稣正坐在橄榄山上，门徒私下来问祂：“请告诉我们，这事什么时候会发生？你再来和世界末日的时候会有什么预兆？”

听见约翰的话后跟从耶稣的两个人中，有一个是西门·彼得的弟弟安得烈。他首先去找他哥哥西门，说：“我们找到弥赛亚了！”弥赛亚的意思是基督。

后来，耶稣离开人群，进到屋里。门徒也跟着进去，对耶稣说：“请为我们解释毒麦的比喻。”
