『至於那日子那時辰、沒有人知道：天上的使者也不知道，子也不知道，只有父知道。

“但那日子，那时辰，没有人知道，连天上的使者也不知道，子也不知道，惟有父知道。

然其日其時、人不知、天使與子亦不知、惟父知之、

彼日彼時、人不知、天使不知、子亦不知、惟父知之、

然彼日彼時、無有人知、即天使亦不知、人子亦不知、惟父知之、

『至於彼時彼日、無人知之。天神不知、人子亦不知、惟父知之。

“ But about that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father.

“ But no one knows about that day or hour. Not even the angels in heaven know. The Son does not know. Only the Father knows.

“ But concerning that day or that hour, no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father.

“ However, no one knows the day or hour when these things will happen, not even the angels in heaven or the Son himself. Only the Father knows.

“ Now concerning that day or hour no one knows— neither the angels in heaven nor the Son— but only the Father.

But about that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but the Father alone.

“ But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father.

But of that day or that hour knoweth no one, not even the angels in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father.

耶穌對他們說：『父放在自己權內所定的時候或時期、並不是給你們知道的。

所以你們要儆醒，因為你們不知道那日子或那時辰。

『至於那日子那時辰，沒有人知道：天上的使者也不知道，子也不知道，惟獨父知道。挪亞的日子怎樣，人子之御臨也必怎樣。當洪水以前那些日子，人怎樣又嚼又喝，又娶又嫁，直到挪亞進樓船那一天，不知不覺，到洪水來了，把一切都沖了去：人子之御臨也必這樣。那時兩個人在田地裏，必有一個被接去，一個被撇下；兩個女人在磨房裏推磨，必有一個被接去，一個被撇下。所以你們要儆醒，因為你們不知道你們的主甚麼日子要來。

弟兄們，關於時候與時期、你們無需乎人寫信給你們了，因為你們自己明確地曉得主的日子就像個賊夜裏來到一樣。

那時人必看見人子帶着大能力和榮耀、在雲中來臨。那時他必差遣使者，將他揀選的人、由四方、從地極到天邊、都聚攏來。』

半夜裏有嚷叫的聲音說：「看哪，新郎來了！出來迎接他哦！」

過了許久，那些奴僕的主人來了，和他們算賬。

但主的日子總必來到；來時就像賊一樣。當那日、天必轟然一聲地過去，星辰必因烈熾而被消毁，地和地上被造之物就不見了。

故此要回想你怎樣領受，怎樣聽；務要執守，也要悔改。若不儆醒起來，我就像賊臨到，你決不能知道我在哪一時辰要臨到你。

耶穌基督的啓示、就是上帝給了他、叫他將必須快發生的事指示他僕人們的。他藉他的一位天使傳送，用表號指示他的僕人約翰。
