經云、爾今日若聽主之言、則勿剛愎爾心、如在激主怒之時、其時聞而激怒者誰、非從摩西出伊及之眾乎、天主於四十年間怒誰、非犯罪而屍仆於曠野者乎、天主誓之、不許享其安息者誰、非違背違背或作不信之人乎、由是觀之、彼不享其安息、乃因不信之故、

凡我所愛者、我必責之懲之、故當奮勉悔改、

故如聖神云、今日爾若聽主之言、則勿剛愎爾心、如昔民之激主怒、即在曠野試主之時、

耶穌曾在數邑內施異能、而彼終不悔改、故是時責之曰、

眾聞耶穌復活、為婦所見、皆不信、厥後其中二人適鄉、行時、耶穌別以形狀現於彼、二人往告其餘門徒、亦不信也、

主曰、爾曹勿剛愎乃心、如昔在米利巴、在曠野之瑪撒時、彼時爾曹列祖、雖見我之作為、仍試我探我、彼世代四十年間、激我厭惡、我曰、彼乃心中偏邪之民、不明我道、我遂震怒而誓曰、必不容其人享我安息、

耶穌曰、爾亦不悟乎、爾豈不知凡自外入者、不能污人、

耶穌知之、謂之曰、小信者乎、爾曹何為因未取餅而私議耶、爾尚不明乎、豈不憶五餅分五千人、而拾餘屑幾筐乎、又不憶七餅分四千人、而拾餘屑幾籃乎、我言當謹防法利賽及撒度該人之酵、此非為餅而言、爾何不明耶、

耶穌曰、因爾不信也、我誠告爾、爾若有信如一粒芥種、即命此山、由此移彼、亦必移焉、且無一事爾不能作也、

耶穌謂之曰、無知之人、不信諸先知所言、心鈍若此歟、

耶穌知之、曰、爾以無餅而議乎、爾猶不悟不明乎、爾心尚頑乎、爾有目不視乎、有耳不聽乎、亦不憶乎、

主諭摩西曰、斯民棄我、何時乃已、我在其中、行諸異跡、彼仍不我信、何時乃已、

遂謂多瑪曰、伸爾指、探我手、伸爾手、探我脅、毋不信、當信焉、

當日即七日之首日、既暮、門徒因懼猶太人、於所集之處閉門、耶穌至、立於其中、曰、願爾曹平安、言竟、以手及脅示之、門徒見主而喜、

耶穌曰、爾曹亦不悟乎、豈不知凡入諸口者、運於腹而遺於厠乎、
