While it is said, To day if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts, as in the provocation.For some, when they had heard, did provoke: howbeit not all that came out of Egypt by Moses.But with whom was he grieved forty years?[ was it] not with them that had sinned, whose carcases fell in the wilderness?And to whom sware he that they should not enter into his rest, but to them that believed not?So we see that they could not enter in because of unbelief.

As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent.

Wherefore( as the Holy Ghost saith, To day if ye will hear his voice,Harden not your hearts, as in the provocation, in the day of temptation in the wilderness:

Then began he to upbraid the cities wherein most of his mighty works were done, because they repented not:

Harden not your heart, as in the provocation,[ and] as[ in] the day of temptation in the wilderness:When your fathers tempted me, proved me, and saw my work.Forty years long was I grieved with[ this] generation, and said, It[ is] a people that do err in their heart, and they have not known my ways:Unto whom I sware in my wrath that they should not enter into my rest.

And he saith unto them, Are ye so without understanding also? Do ye not perceive, that whatsoever thing from without entereth into the man,[ it] cannot defile him;

[ Which] when Jesus perceived, he said unto them, O ye of little faith, why reason ye among yourselves, because ye have brought no bread?Do ye not yet understand, neither remember the five loaves of the five thousand, and how many baskets ye took up?Neither the seven loaves of the four thousand, and how many baskets ye took up?How is it that ye do not understand that I spake[ it] not to you concerning bread, that ye should beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees?

And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.

Then he said unto them, O fools, and slow of heart to believe all that the prophets have spoken:

And when Jesus knew[ it], he saith unto them, Why reason ye, because ye have no bread? perceive ye not yet, neither understand? have ye your heart yet hardened?Having eyes, see ye not? and having ears, hear ye not? and do ye not remember?

And the LORD said unto Moses, How long will this people provoke me? and how long will it be ere they believe me, for all the signs which I have shewed among them?

Then saith he to Thomas, Reach hither thy finger, and behold my hands; and reach hither thy hand, and thrust[ it] into my side: and be not faithless, but believing.

Then the same day at evening, being the first[ day] of the week, when the doors were shut where the disciples were assembled for fear of the Jews, came Jesus and stood in the midst, and saith unto them, Peace[ be] unto you.And when he had so said, he shewed unto them[ his] hands and his side. Then were the disciples glad, when they saw the Lord.

And Jesus said, Are ye also yet without understanding?Do not ye yet understand, that whatsoever entereth in at the mouth goeth into the belly, and is cast out into the draught?
