Some people are like seed along the path, where the word is sown. As soon as they hear it, Satan comes and takes away the word that was sown in them.

What is seed scattered on a path like? The message is planted. The people hear the message. Then Satan comes. He takes away the message that was planted in them.

And these are the ones along the path, where the word is sown: when they hear, Satan immediately comes and takes away the word that is sown in them.

Who has believed our report? And to whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed?

So Lot went out and spoke to his sons-in-law, who had married his daughters, and said,“ Get up, get out of this place; for the Lord will destroy this city!” But to his sons-in-law he seemed to be joking.

Then Jesus said to him,“ Away with you, Satan! For it is written,‘ You shall worship the Lord your God, and Him only you shall serve.’”

and when they had gone aside, they talked among themselves, saying,“ This man is doing nothing deserving of death or chains.”Then Agrippa said to Festus,“ This man might have been set free if he had not appealed to Caesar.”
