好叫你们行事为人对得起主，凡事蒙他喜悦，在一切善事上结果子，渐渐地多知道神；

你们要常在我里面，我也常在你们里面。枝子若不常在葡萄树上，自己就不能结果子；你们若不常在我里面，也是这样。我是葡萄树，你们是枝子。常在我里面的，我也常在他里面，这人就多结果子；因为离了我，你们就不能作什么。

那落在好土里的，就是人听了道，持守在诚实善良的心里，并且忍耐着结实。”

又有落在好土里的，就发生长大，结实有三十倍的，有六十倍的，有一百倍的”；

不是你们拣选了我，是我拣选了你们，并且分派你们去结果子，叫你们的果子常存，使你们奉我的名，无论向父求什么，他就赐给你们。

弟兄们，我还有话说：我们靠着主耶稣求你们，劝你们，你们既然受了我们的教训，知道该怎样行可以讨神的喜悦，就要照你们现在所行的更加勉励。

你们若充充足足地有这几样，就必使你们在认识我们的主耶稣基督上不至于闲懒不结果子了。

并靠着耶稣基督结满了仁义的果子，叫荣耀称赞归与神。

我的弟兄们，这样说来，你们藉着基督的身体，在律法上也是死了，叫你们归于别人，就是归于那从死里复活的，叫我们结果子给神。

圣灵所结的果子，就是仁爱、喜乐、和平、忍耐、恩慈、良善、信实、温柔、节制。这样的事没有律法禁止。
