你所見的樹漸長，而且堅強，高達於天，全地的人都看得到。它的葉子美麗，果實繁多，所有的生物都從它得到食物；野地的走獸住在它下面，空中的飛鳥棲在它的枝頭上。王啊！你就是那樹，越來越偉大堅強；你的威勢漸長，高達於天；你的權柄直到地極。

你為它預備了地土，它就深深扎根，充滿全地。它的蔭影遮蓋了群山，它的枝條遮蓋了高大的香柏樹。它的枝條伸展，直到大海；它的幼苗，直到大河。

在我整個聖山上面，這一切都不行傷害或毀滅之事；因為認識耶和華的知識要充滿大地，好像海水覆蓋海洋一般。

看哪！亞述曾是黎巴嫩的香柏樹，枝條秀美，林影茂密，樹身高大，樹頂在茂密的枝葉之上。眾水使它長大，深淵使它長高；有江河從深淵流出環繞它栽種之地，又有支流延到田間的眾樹。因此，它樹身高大，高過田間的眾樹；它發旺生長的時候，因為水源豐足，所以枝子繁多，枝條長長。空中的飛鳥都在枝上搭窩；田野的走獸都在枝條下生產；所有大國都在它的樹蔭下居住。它樹身高大，枝條長長而顯得秀美，因為它的根扎在水多的地方。神園中的香柏樹不能與它相比，松樹比不上它的枝子；楓樹也不及它的枝條；神園中所有的樹木都比不上它的秀美。我使它因枝條繁多而顯得秀美，以致在神的園中，伊甸所有的樹木都嫉妒它。“‘因此，主耶和華這樣說：因為它樹身高大，樹頂在茂密的枝葉之上，又因它高大而心驕氣傲，

我躺在床上時腦海中所見的異象是這樣：我看見大地中間，有一棵樹，十分高大。那樹漸長，而且堅強，高達於天，地極所有的人都看得到。它的葉子美麗，果實繁多，所有的生物都從它得到食物；野地的走獸在它下面歇息，空中的飛鳥棲宿在它的枝頭上；各種生物都從它得著供養。“‘我躺在床上，在我腦海出現的異象中，我看見有一位守望者，就是聖者，從天上下來，大聲呼叫，這樣說：你們要砍下這樹，削斷枝子，搖落葉子，打散果子，把樹下的走獸趕散，把樹枝上的飛鳥趕走。

義人的路徑卻像黎明的曙光，越來越明亮，直到日午。

住在至高者的隱密處的，必在全能者的蔭庇下安居。

必有一人像避風所，和避暴雨的隱密處，像乾旱之地的溪水，又像疲乏之地的大磐石的陰影。

耶和華所膏立的，我們鼻孔的氣息，在他們的陷坑中被捉住；我們論到他曾說：“我們要在他的蔭庇之下，在列國中存活。”

我的良人在男子中，好像樹林裡的一棵蘋果樹；我歡歡喜喜地坐在它的蔭下，它的果子香甜合我口味。
