他使司酒长官复原职，司酒长就仍旧把杯子递在法老的手中；

耶和华啊，求你倾听我的祷告，留心听我恳求的声音！

王的心在耶和华的手中，就像河渠的水：耶和华可以任意使它流转。

至于司酒长，却没有记念约瑟，竟把他忘掉了。

那时司酒长对法老说：“我今天想起了我的罪过。

正是因为他们恨恶知识，没有选择敬畏耶和华，

耶和华啊，我们等候你行审判之道；你的名和你的名号，是我们心所渴慕的！我的心在夜间渴慕你，我里面的灵切切寻求你；你的审判临到大地的时候，世上的居民就学到公义。

那人说：“你的名字不要再叫雅各，而要叫以色列，因为你已经与神与人较力，并且得胜了。”

司酒长就向约瑟讲述他的梦，说：“在我的梦中，看哪，有一棵葡萄树在我面前！葡萄树上有三根枝子，树上发了芽，开了花，一串串的葡萄都成熟了。法老的杯子在我的手中，我就拿了葡萄挤到法老的杯子里，然后把杯子递在法老的手中。”约瑟对他说：“梦的解释是这样的：三根枝子就是三天。三天之内，法老要抬起你的头，使你官复原位；你仍会把法老的杯子递在他的手中，像你先前作司酒长时的惯例。

主啊，求你垂听我的声音，愿你的耳朵倾听我恳求的声音！

法老就对司酒长和司膳长这两个内臣发怒，

愿全能的神使你们在那人面前蒙怜悯，好让他可以把你们那个兄弟和本雅明都交还给你们。至于我，如果要丧失儿子，就丧失吧！”

求你救我脱离我哥哥以扫的手，因为我畏惧他，恐怕他来击杀我，连母亲和孩子也一同击杀。
