Hanani, one of my brothers, came from Judah with some other men, and I questioned them about the Jewish remnant that had survived the exile, and also about Jerusalem.

At that time Hanani came from Judah with some other men. He was one of my brothers. I asked him and the other men about the Jews who were left alive in Judah. They had returned from Babylon. I also asked him about Jerusalem.

耶路撒冷啊，如果我忘记你，愿我的右手忘记技巧！如果我不记念你，如果我不将耶路撒冷置于我最高的喜乐之上，情愿我的舌头紧贴着上颚！

你们当为耶路撒冷的平安祈求：“愿那些爱你的人安稳！愿你的城垣里有平安！愿你的城堡中有安稳！”为我弟兄和朋友们的缘故，我要说：“愿你里面有平安！”为了耶和华我们神的殿，我要为你求福份。
