其餘之民、祭司、利未人、守門者、謳歌者、殿役、及凡與異邦人絕交從天主律法者、並其妻其子女、凡有知識能明者、

all these now join their fellow Israelites the nobles, and bind themselves with a curse and an oath to follow the Law of God given through Moses the servant of God and to obey carefully all the commands, regulations and decrees of the Lord our Lord.

All the men joined the nobles of their people. They made a firm agreement. They made a promise and said they would be cursed if they didn’t keep it. They promised to follow the Law of God. It had been given through Moses, the servant of God. They promised to obey carefully all the commands, rules and laws of the Lord our Lord.

我曾起誓，并且坚守誓言，我必遵守你公义的典章。

王站在他的位上，在耶和华面前立约，要一心一意跟随耶和华，谨守他的诫命、法度和律例，实行这书上所记立约的誓言。

神拯救万人的恩典已经显明出来了。这恩典训练我们除去不敬虔的心，和属世的私欲，在今生过着自律、公正、敬虔的生活，等候那有福的盼望，就是我们伟大的神，救主耶稣基督荣耀的显现。他为我们舍己，为的是要救赎我们脱离一切不法的事，并且洁净我们作他自己的子民，热心善工。

王站在柱旁，在耶和华面前立约，要一心一意跟从耶和华，谨守他的诫命、典章和律例，实行这书上所写有关这约的话。众民都一同立约。

他们就说：“我们必定归还，不再向他们要求利息了，你怎么说，我们愿意照着你说的去行。”我就把祭司们召了来，叫众人起誓必照着这话去行。我抖着胸前的衣襟说：“不履行这话的，愿神也是这样抖他离开他的家和产业，直到抖空。”全体会众都说：“阿们！”又赞美耶和华。众人都照着这话去行。

我必把我的灵放在你们里面，使你们遵行我的律例，谨守遵行我的典章。

你们若行我所吩咐你们的，就是我的朋友了。

到了天亮，犹太人在一起秘密计谋，并且发誓说，不杀保罗，就不吃不喝。一同策划这项阴谋的有四十多人。他们来见众祭司长和长老，说：“我们已经发了誓，不杀保罗，就不吃东西。现在你们和公议会要通知千夫长，带保罗到你们这里来，装作要详细审查他。我们已经预备好了，不等他走近，就把他杀了。”

但有几个人接近他，并且信了主，其中有亚略．巴古的议员丢尼修，一个名叫戴马里的女子，还有其他在一起的人。

耶和华我们的主啊！你的名在全地是多么威严，你把你的荣美彰显在天上。

耶和华怜悯雅各，再拣选以色列，使他们安居在自己的国土上的时候，外族人必与他们联合，归属于雅各家。

摩西不是曾经把律法传给你们吗？你们竟然没有一个人遵行律法。你们为什么想要杀我呢？”

他到了那里，看见神所施的恩，就很欢喜，劝勉众人坚心靠主。

不寻求耶和华以色列的神的，无论男女老幼，都必处死。他们就大声欢呼，吹起号角，向耶和华起誓。

所以，你们要照着耶和华你们的神吩咐你们的，谨守遵行，不可偏离左右。

“你们要谨记我仆人摩西的律法，就是我在何烈山为以色列众人所吩咐他的律例和典章。

你不要听他们，因为他们有四十多人正在埋伏起来等着保罗；他们发了誓，不杀保罗，就不吃不喝。现在他们已经准备好了，只等你答应。”

为要使他们谨守他的律例，遵守他的律法。你们要赞美耶和华。

爱，不可虚伪；恶，要厌恶；善，要持守。

摩西把以色列人都召了来，对他们说：“以色列人哪，我今日讲给你们听的律例和典章，你们要听从，要学习，要谨慎遵行。

你要对他们说：耶和华这样说：如果你们不听从我，不遵行我设立在你们面前的律法，

“‘制造耶和华厌恶的雕像或铸像，工人手中做的，并且在暗处设立的，那人必受咒诅。’众民都要应声说：‘阿们。’“‘轻慢父母的，必受咒诅。’众民都要说：‘阿们。’“‘移动邻舍地界的，必受咒诅。’众民都要说：‘阿们。’“‘使瞎子走错路的，必受咒诅。’众民都要说：‘阿们。’“‘对寄居的和孤儿寡妇屈枉正直的，必受咒诅。’众民都要说：‘阿们。’“‘和父亲的妻子同寝的，必受咒诅，因为他揭开了他父亲的衣襟。’众民都要说：‘阿们。’“‘和任何野兽同寝的，必受咒诅。’众民都要说：‘阿们。’“‘和同父异母，或是同母异父的姊妹同寝的，必受咒诅。’众民都要说：‘阿们。’“‘和岳母同寝的，必受咒诅。’众民都要说：‘阿们。’“‘暗中杀害邻舍的，必受咒诅。’众民都要说：‘阿们。’“‘接受贿赂杀人，流无辜人的血的，必受咒诅。’众民都要说：‘阿们。’“‘不坚守这律法的话去遵行的，必受咒诅。’众民都要说：‘阿们。’”

耶和华以色列的神啊，你应许你的仆人我父亲大卫说：‘只要你的子孙谨守他们的行为，遵守我的律法，像你在我面前所行的一样，你就不会断人在我面前坐上以色列的王位。’现在求你应验这话吧。

为要叫你遵守耶和华你的神今日与你所立的约，和他向你所起的誓；这样，他今日可以立你作他的子民，他可以作你的神，正如他曾经对你说过的，又对你的列祖亚伯拉罕、以撒、雅各起过誓的。“我不但与你们立这约，起这誓；

我就责备他们，咒诅他们，击打他们中间的几个人，拔下他们的头发，叫他们指着神起誓，说：“你们决不可把自己的女儿嫁给他们的儿子，也决不可为儿子或为自己娶他们的女儿。

可是耶户没有尽心遵行耶和华以色列神的律法，离弃耶罗波安使以色列人陷于罪中的那些罪。

耶和华我们的主啊！你的名在全地是多么威严。

律法是藉着摩西颁布的，恩典和真理却是藉着耶稣基督而来的。

摩西把律法吩咐我们，作为雅各会众的基业。
