I rebuked them and called curses down on them. I beat some of the men and pulled out their hair. I made them take an oath in God’s name and said:“ You are not to give your daughters in marriage to their sons, nor are you to take their daughters in marriage for your sons or for yourselves.

So I gave them a warning. I cursed them. I beat up some of them. I pulled their hair out. I had them make a promise in God’s name. I said,“ You must promise not to give your daughters to be married to their sons. You must promise not to let their daughters marry your sons. And you must not marry their daughters either.

And I confronted them and cursed them and beat some of them and pulled out their hair. And I made them take an oath in the name of God, saying,“ You shall not give your daughters to their sons, or take their daughters for your sons or for yourselves.

So I confronted them and called down curses on them. I beat some of them and pulled out their hair. I made them swear in the name of God that they would not let their children intermarry with the pagan people of the land.

So I entered a complaint with them. I called down a curse on them, and I struck some of the men and pulled out their hair. I had them swear by God saying,“ You will not marry off your daughters to their sons, and you will not take any of their daughters as wives for your sons or for yourselves!

I contended with them, and cursed them, and struck certain of them, and plucked off their hair, and made them swear by God,“ You shall not give your daughters to their sons, nor take their daughters for your sons, or for yourselves.

于是我责备犹大的贵族，对他们说：“你们怎么行这恶事，亵渎安息日呢？

于是以斯拉起来，使祭司首领、利未人和以色列众人起誓要照着这话去行；他们就起誓。

都坚持和他们的贵族兄弟参与发咒起誓，必遵行神藉他仆人摩西颁布的律法，必谨守遵行耶和华我们的主的一切诫命、典章和律例；我们必不把我们的女儿嫁给这地的外族人，也不为我们的儿子娶他们的女儿。

于是我责备众官长说：“为什么疏忽供应神的殿呢？”我就再召集利未人，使他们重站原来的岗位。

不可与他们通婚，不可把你的女儿嫁给他们的儿子，也不可为你的儿子娶他们的女儿。

他眼中藐视卑鄙的人，却尊重敬畏耶和华的人。他起了誓，纵然自己吃亏，也不更改。

我把我的背给打我的人打，把我的腮颊给拔我胡须的人拔；我并没有掩面躲避人的羞辱和人的唾液。

律法师中有一个回答他：“老师，你这样说，把我们也侮辱了！”耶稣说：“你们律法师也有祸了，因为你们把难担的担子叫人担，自己连一个指头也不动。

又恐怕你给你的儿子娶他们的女儿为妻，他们的女儿随从自己的神行邪淫的时候，使你的儿子也随从她们的神行邪淫。

不遵守你神的律法和王的律法的，就要审慎地判决处分，或是处死、或是放逐、或是没收家产、或是囚禁。”

如果有罪的人应受责打，审判官就要叫他伏下，当面按着他的罪，照着数目责打他。只可打他四十下，不可再多；恐怕你多打了他，过了这数目，你的兄弟就在你眼前受辱了。

他们也立约，要一心一意寻求耶和华他们列祖的神。不寻求耶和华以色列的神的，无论男女老幼，都必处死。他们就大声欢呼，吹起号角，向耶和华起誓。犹大众人都为了所起的誓快乐，因为他们一心起誓，尽意寻求耶和华，耶和华就给他们寻见，并且使他们四境安宁。

我抖着胸前的衣襟说：“不履行这话的，愿神也是这样抖他离开他的家和产业，直到抖空。”全体会众都说：“阿们！”又赞美耶和华。众人都照着这话去行。

你要敬畏耶和华你的神，要事奉他，奉他的名起誓。

利未人要向以色列众人大声说：“‘制造耶和华厌恶的雕像或铸像，工人手中做的，并且在暗处设立的，那人必受咒诅。’众民都要应声说：‘阿们。’“‘轻慢父母的，必受咒诅。’众民都要说：‘阿们。’“‘移动邻舍地界的，必受咒诅。’众民都要说：‘阿们。’“‘使瞎子走错路的，必受咒诅。’众民都要说：‘阿们。’“‘对寄居的和孤儿寡妇屈枉正直的，必受咒诅。’众民都要说：‘阿们。’“‘和父亲的妻子同寝的，必受咒诅，因为他揭开了他父亲的衣襟。’众民都要说：‘阿们。’“‘和任何野兽同寝的，必受咒诅。’众民都要说：‘阿们。’“‘和同父异母，或是同母异父的姊妹同寝的，必受咒诅。’众民都要说：‘阿们。’“‘和岳母同寝的，必受咒诅。’众民都要说：‘阿们。’“‘暗中杀害邻舍的，必受咒诅。’众民都要说：‘阿们。’“‘接受贿赂杀人，流无辜人的血的，必受咒诅。’众民都要说：‘阿们。’“‘不坚守这律法的话去遵行的，必受咒诅。’众民都要说：‘阿们。’”

离弃律法的，称赞恶人；遵守律法的，却与恶人相争。
