可是，他們得享平安後，又在你面前作惡，於是你離棄他們，把他們交在敵人手中，使敵人統治他們。他們回轉向你呼求，你就從天上垂聽，你一次次地懷著憐憫拯救他們。

但他们得平安之后，又在你面前行恶，所以你丢弃他们在仇敌的手中，使仇敌辖制他们。然而他们转回哀求你，你仍从天上垂听，屡次照你的怜悯拯救他们，

但他们得享太平之后，又在你面前行恶，所以你丢弃他们，交在仇敌的手中，仇敌就辖制他们；然而他们转回哀求你，你就从天上垂听，屡次照你的怜悯拯救他们，

既享綏安、彼復行爾所惡、爾則遺之於敵手、使轄制之、迨其轉而籲爾、爾仍自天垂聽、依爾慈惠、屢施救援、

既釋之後、彼復行惡於爾前、爾假手於敵、使敵人統轄之、民仍籲爾、爾自天垂聽、體恤倍至、屢加援手。

彼得平康後、復行惡於主前、主則棄之、使墮於敵手、為敵所轄制、彼悔改、呼籲主、主自天俯聽、屢發矜憐以救之、

“ But as soon as they were at rest, they again did what was evil in your sight. Then you abandoned them to the hand of their enemies so that they ruled over them. And when they cried out to you again, you heard from heaven, and in your compassion you delivered them time after time.

“ Then the people were enjoying peace and rest again. That’s when they did what you did not want them to do. Then you handed them over to their enemies. So their enemies ruled over them. When they cried out to you again, you heard them from heaven. You loved them very much. So you saved them time after time.

But after they had rest they did evil again before you, and you abandoned them to the hand of their enemies, so that they had dominion over them. Yet when they turned and cried to you, you heard from heaven, and many times you delivered them according to your mercies.

“ But as soon as they were at peace, your people again committed evil in your sight, and once more you let their enemies conquer them. Yet whenever your people turned and cried to you again for help, you listened once more from heaven. In your wonderful mercy, you rescued them many times!

But as soon as they had relief, they again did what was evil in your sight. So you abandoned them to the power of their enemies, who dominated them. When they cried out to you again, you heard from heaven and rescued them many times in your compassion.

But as soon as they had rest, they did evil again before You; Therefore You abandoned them to the hand of their enemies, so that they ruled over them. When they cried out again to You, You heard from heaven, And many times You rescued them according to Your compassion,

“ But after they had rest, They again did evil before You. Therefore You left them in the hand of their enemies, So that they had dominion over them; Yet when they returned and cried out to You, You heard from heaven; And many times You delivered them according to Your mercies,

But after they had rest, they did evil again before thee; therefore leftest thou them in the hand of their enemies, so that they had the dominion over them: yet when they returned, and cried unto thee, thou heardest from heaven; and many times didst thou deliver them according to thy mercies,

But after they had rest, they did evil again before you; therefore you left them in the hands of their enemies, so that they had the dominion over them; yet when they returned, and cried to you, you heard from heaven; and many times you delivered them according to your mercies,

耶和華啊，願你的敵人都像西西拉一樣滅亡！願愛你的人如升起的太陽，光輝熠熠！」此後，以色列安享太平四十年。後來，以色列人又做耶和華視為惡的事，耶和華就把他們交在米甸人手中，受他們統治七年。

求你從天上垂顧，從你聖潔、榮耀的居所垂看。你的熱忱和大能在哪裡呢？難道你不再眷愛、憐憫我們嗎？

以笏死後，以色列人又做耶和華視為惡的事。

此後，國內安享太平四十年，直到俄陀聶去世。之後，以色列人又做耶和華視為惡的事，耶和華就使摩押王伊磯倫強盛起來，攻打以色列人。

這樣，以色列人征服了摩押人，國中安享太平八十年。

求你從天上的居所垂聽，赦免他們。唯獨你能洞察人心，你必按各人的行為施行賞罰，

「當你的以色列子民因得罪你而敗在敵人手中時，如果他們回心轉意歸向你，承認你的名，在這殿裡祈禱，求你從天上垂聽，赦免他們的罪，帶領他們回到你賜給他們祖先的土地上。

祂多次拯救他們，他們卻執意背叛，陷入罪中不能自拔。但祂聽見他們在苦難中呼求時，仍然眷顧他們。祂沒有忘記與他們立的約，因祂偉大無比的愛而憐憫他們。
