以下是奉獻祭壇的禮物，是膏油抹祭壇的日子、由以色列眾首領所獻的：共有銀盤子十二個、銀碗十二個、金碟子十二個，

瞎眼的人哪，甚麼是較大的？是禮物呢？還是那使禮物成聖別的壇呢？

你要拿膏油膏帳幕和其中所有的一切，將帳幕和它一切的器具分別為聖，它就成為聖。你要膏燔祭壇和它一切的器具，將祭壇分別為聖，祭壇就成為至聖。

第二年正月初一日、帳幕就立起來。摩西把帳幕立起來，將帶卯的座安上，框子安放好，橫木穿上，柱子立好；他把罩棚鋪在帳幕上面，又將罩棚的頂遮蓋放在上面：照永恆主所吩咐摩西的。

那一天王將永恆主殿前的院子當中分別為聖，在那裏獻了燔祭、素祭和平安祭牲的脂肪，因為永恆主面前的銅祭壇太小、容不下燔祭、素祭和平安祭牲的脂肪。

『要把一切頭胎的分別為聖而歸我：在以色列人之中、凡頭胎的、無論是人是牲口、都是我的。』

做平安祭的、共有公牛二十四隻、公綿羊六十隻、公山羊六十隻、一歲以內的公綿羊羔六十隻：這是奉獻祭壇的禮物、膏油抹祭壇以後所收的。

『你要取頭等的香料：就是流質的沒藥五百舍客勒、香肉桂一半、就是二百五十、香菖蒲二百五十、桂皮五百，都按聖所的平，又橄欖油一欣；將這些物品作成聖膏油，就是按作香物者的作法所配合成的香物，是要作為聖膏油的。你要用這膏油膏會棚和法櫃、桌子和桌子的一切器具、燈臺和燈臺的器具、跟香壇、燔祭壇和它的一切器具、洗濯盆和盆座：你要把這些東西分別為聖，好成為至聖；無論甚麼、凡觸着它們的、都會成為聖的。你也要用膏膏亞倫和他的兒子們，好把他們分別為聖、作祭司來事奉我。

到了第八天，摩西將亞倫和他兒子們、跟以色列眾長老都召了來；對亞倫說：『你要取一隻公牛犢、就是小公牛、做解罪祭，一隻公綿羊做燔祭，都要完全沒有殘疾的，牽到永恆主面前。對以色列人、你也要說：「你們要取一隻公山羊做解罪祭，又取一隻牛犢和一隻綿羊羔、都要一歲以內、完全沒有殘疾的、做燔祭，又取一隻公牛和一隻公綿羊做平安祭，祭獻在永恆主面前；並取用油調和的素祭；因為今天永恆主要向你們顯現。」』於是他們把摩西所吩咐的帶到會棚前；全會眾都走近前來，站在永恆主面前。摩西說：『這是永恆主所吩咐你們的事；你們要行，永恆主的榮耀就要向你們顯現。』摩西對亞倫說：『你走近祭壇前，獻你的解罪祭和燔祭，為你自己和你的家行除罪禮；也獻人民的供物、為他們行除罪禮，照永恆主所吩咐的。』於是亞倫走近祭壇前，宰了為自己做解罪祭的牛犢。亞倫的兒子們把血遞給他，他就把指頭蘸在血裏，抹在祭壇的四角上，又把血倒在祭壇腳那裏；至於解罪祭中的脂肪跟腰子、和肝上的附屬物、他都燻在祭壇上：照永恆主所吩咐摩西的。那肉和皮、他卻在營外用火去燒。亞倫宰了燔祭牲，亞倫的兒子們將血遞給他，他就潑在祭壇的四圍。他們又把燔祭一塊一塊地連頭遞給他，他都燻在祭壇上。又洗了臟腑和腿，燻在祭壇上燔祭品上面。他把人民的供物獻上，把那給人民做解罪祭的公山羊宰了，獻為解罪祭，和首先的一樣。他也獻燔祭，按照典章而行。又把素祭獻上，從其中取一滿把來、燻在祭壇上：這是在早晨的燔祭以外的。亞倫宰了那給人民做平安祭的公牛和公綿羊，亞倫的兒子們把血遞給他，他就潑在祭壇的四圍；又把公牛的脂肪和公綿羊的脂肪、肥尾巴、蓋臟腑的脂肪、兩個腰子、和肝的附屬物、都遞給他；他們把脂肪放在胸上，亞倫就把脂肪燻在祭壇上；至於胸和右腿、他卻當作搖獻物，搖在永恆主面前：照摩西所吩咐的。亞倫向人民舉手，給他們祝福；他舉行了解罪祭、燔祭、平安祭，就下來。摩西、亞倫進了會棚，又出來給人民祝福；永恆主的榮耀向眾民顯現。有火從永恆主面前出來，在祭壇上燒盡了燔祭和脂肪；眾民看見、就大聲歡呼，臉伏於地。

上帝賜福與第七日，分別為聖，因為在這一日、上帝歇了他在創造中所作的一切工而休息。
