哥轄子孫在會棚裏對至聖器物所作的工、乃是這樣：當全營要往前行的時候，亞倫和他的兒子們要進去，把遮隔至聖所的帷帳拆卸下來，用來蓋上法櫃；又用塔哈示皮遮蓋物放在上頭，再鋪上純藍紫色的布，然後把杠穿上。在神前桌子上、他們要鋪上藍紫色的布，將盤子、碟子、大盃、跟奠酒的爵擺在上頭，也要有長供餅在桌子上；他們要把朱紅色的布鋪在上面，再蓋上塔哈示皮的遮蓋物，然後把杠穿上。他們要拿藍紫色的布，把燈火臺、帶燈盞、蠟剪和蠟花盤、跟一切盛油的器皿、就是供職用的器皿、都蓋上；他們要把燈臺和燈臺的一切器具包在塔哈示皮的遮蓋物裏，放在抬杠上。在金香壇上他們要鋪上藍紫色的布，再蓋上塔哈示皮的遮蓋物，然後把杠穿上；他們要把在聖所供職用的一切供職器具、包在藍紫色布裏，再蓋上塔哈示皮的遮蓋物，放在抬杠上。他們要把祭壇上的灰收起來，將紫紅色的布鋪在壇上；再把供職對壇所用的一切器具、就是火鼎、鍤子、鏟子、碗：祭壇的一切器具、都擺在上面，又蓋上塔哈示皮，然後把杠穿上。全營將要往前行的時候、亞倫和他的兒子們既把聖所和聖所的一切器具遮蓋完了之後，哥轄的子孫就要來抬，只是不可觸着聖物，免得死亡。會棚裏這些物件是哥轄子孫所應當抬的。祭司亞倫的兒子以利亞撒所應當看管的、是燈火的油、芬芳的香、長供的素祭、和膏油；也要看管整個帳幕、和其中所有的、以及聖所和聖所的器具。』

抬永恆主櫃的人走了六步，大衛就獻牛和肥畜為祭。

大衛召集了以色列眾人到耶路撒冷，要將永恆主的櫃接上來到他所給豫備的地方。

他們到了拿艮的禾場，因牛有放下之勢，烏撒就伸手把上帝的櫃扶住。

利未人也不必再抬帳幕和其中所使用的一切器皿了。』
