The Levites purified themselves and washed their clothes. Then Aaron presented them as a wave offering before the Lord and made atonement for them to purify them.

洁净他们当这样行：用除罪水弹在他们身上，又叫他们用剃头刀刮全身，洗衣服，洁净自己。

亚伦也将他们奉到耶和华面前，为以色列人当作摇祭，使他们好办耶和华的事。利未人要按手在那两只牛的头上；你要将一只作赎罪祭，一只作燔祭，献给耶和华，为利未人赎罪。你也要使利未人站在亚伦和他儿子面前，将他们当作摇祭奉给耶和华。

第三天和第七天，洁净的人要洒水在不洁净的人身上，第七天就使他成为洁净。那人要洗衣服，用水洗澡，到晚上就洁净了。

此后利未人要进去办会幕的事，你要洁净他们，将他们当作摇祭奉上；

“我从以色列人中拣选了利未人，代替以色列人一切头生的；利未人要归我。

那人到第三天要用这除污秽的水洁净自己，第七天就洁净了。他若在第三天不洁净自己，第七天就不洁净了。
