“ This is what applies to the Levites: from twenty five years old and upward they shall enter to perform service in the work of the tent of meeting.

利未人供役事有定例、自二十五歲以上者、可來入班、在會幕供役事、

“ This applies to the Levites: Men twenty-five years old or more shall come to take part in the work at the tent of meeting,

“ Here is what the Levites must do. Men 25 years old or more must come and take part in the work at the tent of meeting.

“ This applies to the Levites: from twenty-five years old and upward they shall come to do duty in the service of the tent of meeting.

“ This is the rule the Levites must follow: They must begin serving in the Tabernacle at the age of twenty five,

“ In regard to the Levites: From twenty-five years old or more, a man enters the service in the work at the tent of meeting.

“ This is what pertains to the Levites: From twenty-five years old and above one may enter to perform service in the work of the tabernacle of meeting;

This is that which belongeth unto the Levites: from twenty and five years old and upward they shall go in to wait upon the service in the work of the tent of meeting:

“ In regard to the Levites: From 25 years old or more, a man enters the service in the work at the tent of meeting.

This[ is it] that[ belongeth] unto the Levites: from twenty and five years old and upward they shall go in to wait upon the service of the tabernacle of the congregation:

“ This is what pertains to the Levites: At the age of twenty-five years and upward one may begin to join the company in the work of the tent of meeting,

“ This is what is assigned to the Levites: from twenty- five years old and upward they shall go in to wait on the service in the work of the Tent of Meeting;

from thirty years old and upward, even to fifty years old, everyone who can enter the service of ministry to do work in the tent of meeting.

Now the Levites were counted from thirty years old and upward, and their number by head count of men was thirty eight thousand.

Who at any time serves as a soldier at his own expense? Who plants a vineyard and does not eat its fruit? Or who tends a flock and does not consume some of the milk of the flock?

and the plan of all that he had in mind, for the courtyards of the house of the Lord, and for all the surrounding rooms, for the storehouses of the house of God and for the storehouses of the dedicated things;also for the divisions of the priests and the Levites and for all the work of the service of the house of the Lord and for all the utensils of service in the house of the Lord;

for the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but divinely powerful for the destruction of fortresses.

Suffer hardship with me, as a good soldier of Christ Jesus.No soldier in active service entangles himself in the affairs of everyday life, so that he may please the one who enlisted him.And if someone likewise competes as an athlete, he is not crowned as victor unless he competes according to the rules.

These were the sons of Levi according to their fathers’ households, the heads of the fathers’ households of those among them who were counted, in the number of names by their head count, doing the work for the service of the house of the Lord, from twenty years old and upward.For David said,“ The Lord God of Israel has given rest to His people, and He dwells in Jerusalem forever.Also, the Levites will no longer need to carry the tabernacle and all its utensils for its service.”For by the last words of David, the sons of Levi were counted from twenty years old and upward.

from thirty years old and upward to fifty years old you shall count them: all who can enter to perform service, to do the work in the tent of meeting.

Fight the good fight of faith; take hold of the eternal life to which you were called, and for which you made the good confession in the presence of many witnesses.

This command I entrust to you, Timothy, my son, in accordance with the prophecies previously made concerning you, that by them you fight the good fight,
