他們的族弟兄利未人、管理上帝之殿的府庫、和聖物的府庫。拉但的子孫裏、革順族人的拉但子孫裏、做拉但父系族長的革順族人、是耶希伊利。耶希伊利的兒子西坦和他的兄弟約珥、管理永恆主之殿的府庫。暗蘭族人、以斯哈族人、希伯倫族人、烏泄族人、也各有職守。摩西的孫子革舜的兒子書巴業做府庫總長。還有他的兄弟以利以謝；以利以謝的兒子利哈比雅，利哈比雅的兒子耶篩亞，耶篩亞的兒子約蘭，約蘭的兒子細基利，細基利的兒子示羅密；這示羅密和他的弟兄管理分別為聖之物的一切府庫、就是大衛王和眾父系族長、千夫長、百夫長、軍長所分別為聖之物。他們將爭戰時所掠得的財物分別為聖，以備修理永恆主之殿的用處。先見撒母耳、基士的兒子掃羅、尼珥的兒子押尼珥、洗魯雅的兒子約押、所分別為聖之物——其實任何人所分別為聖的——都歸示羅密和他弟兄手下管理着。以斯哈族人有基拿尼雅和他兒子們做官吏和司法人員來管理以色列聖殿以外之事。

你們也沒有守盡看守我聖物的職守，卻派別人在我的聖地守盡我所吩咐你們的職守。

他們要守盡會棚的職守、聖地方的職守、和他們族弟兄亞倫子孫的職守，來辦永恆主之殿的事務。

他們要和你聯合，要守盡會棚的職守，辦理帳棚的一切事務；一切非利未族的平常人都不可走近你們。
