Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me, or seen in me— put it into practice. And the God of peace will be with you.

Do what you have learned or received or heard from me. Follow my example. The God who gives peace will be with you.

What you have learned and received and heard and seen in me— practice these things, and the God of peace will be with you.

Keep putting into practice all you learned and received from me— everything you heard from me and saw me doing. Then the God of peace will be with you.

Join in imitating me, brothers and sisters, and pay careful attention to those who live according to the example you have in us.

Therefore, brothers and sisters, make every effort to confirm your calling and election, because if you do these things you will never stumble.

But be doers of the word and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves.

And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.

If you know these things, you are blessed if you do them.

Additionally then, brothers and sisters, we ask and encourage you in the Lord Jesus, that as you have received instruction from us on how you should live and please God— as you are doing— do this even more.For you know what commands we gave you through the Lord Jesus.For this is God’s will, your sanctification: that you keep away from sexual immorality,that each of you knows how to control his own body in holiness and honor,not with lustful passions, like the Gentiles, who don’t know God.This means one must not transgress against and take advantage of a brother or sister in this manner, because the Lord is an avenger of all these offenses, as we also previously told and warned you.For God has not called us to impurity but to live in holiness.Consequently, anyone who rejects this does not reject man, but God, who gives you his Holy Spirit.

Now we command you, brothers and sisters, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, to keep away from every brother or sister who is idle and does not live according to the tradition received from us.For you yourselves know how you should imitate us: We were not idle among you;we did not eat anyone’s food free of charge; instead, we labored and toiled, working night and day, so that we would not be a burden to any of you.It is not that we don’t have the right to support, but we did it to make ourselves an example to you so that you would imitate us.In fact, when we were with you, this is what we commanded you:“ If anyone isn’t willing to work, he should not eat.”

The God of peace will soon crush Satan under your feet. The grace of our Lord Jesus be with you.

Finally, brothers and sisters, rejoice. Become mature, be encouraged, be of the same mind, be at peace, and the God of love and peace will be with you.

“ Therefore, everyone who hears these words of mine and acts on them will be like a wise man who built his house on the rock.The rain fell, the rivers rose, and the winds blew and pounded that house. teaching them to observe everything I have commanded you. And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”

and you yourselves became imitators of us and of the Lord when, in spite of severe persecution, you welcomed the message with joy from the Holy Spirit.

So, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do everything for the glory of God.Give no offense to Jews or Greeks or the church of God,just as I also try to please everyone in everything, not seeking my own benefit, but the benefit of many, so that they may be saved.Imitate me, as I also imitate Christ.

May the God of peace be with all of you. Amen.

Now may the God of peace, who brought up from the dead our Lord Jesus— the great Shepherd of the sheep— through the blood of the everlasting covenant,equip you with everything good to do his will, working in us what is pleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory forever and ever. Amen.

That is, in Christ, God was reconciling the world to himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and he has committed the message of reconciliation to us.Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, since God is making his appeal through us. We plead on Christ’s behalf,“ Be reconciled to God.”

For you, brothers and sisters, became imitators of God’s churches in Christ Jesus that are in Judea, since you have also suffered the same things from people of your own country, just as they did from the Jews

Moses summoned all Israel and said to them,“ Israel, listen to the statutes and ordinances I am proclaiming as you hear them today. Learn and follow them carefully.

“ Not everyone who says to me,‘ Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father in heaven.

We have confidence in the Lord about you, that you are doing and will continue to do what we command.

Now may the God of peace himself sanctify you completely. And may your whole spirit, soul, and body be kept sound and blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

On the contrary, after we had previously suffered and were treated outrageously in Philippi, as you know, we were emboldened by our God to speak the gospel of God to you in spite of great opposition.For our exhortation didn’t come from error or impurity or an intent to deceive.Instead, just as we have been approved by God to be entrusted with the gospel, so we speak, not to please people, but rather God, who examines our hearts.For we never used flattering speech, as you know, or had greedy motives— God is our witness—and we didn’t seek glory from people, either from you or from others.Although we could have been a burden as Christ’s apostles, instead we were gentle among you, as a nurse nurtures her own children.We cared so much for you that we were pleased to share with you not only the gospel of God but also our own lives, because you had become dear to us.For you remember our labor and hardship, brothers and sisters. Working night and day so that we would not burden any of you, we preached God’s gospel to you.You are witnesses, and so is God, of how devoutly, righteously, and blamelessly we conducted ourselves with you believers.As you know, like a father with his own children,we encouraged, comforted, and implored each one of you to walk worthy of God, who calls you into his own kingdom and glory.

But he replied to them,“ My mother and my brothers are those who hear and do the word of God.”

Therefore, whoever breaks one of the least of these commands and teaches others to do the same will be called least in the kingdom of heaven. But whoever does and teaches these commands will be called great in the kingdom of heaven.For I tell you, unless your righteousness surpasses that of the scribes and Pharisees, you will never get into the kingdom of heaven.

“ Do whatever he tells you,” his mother told the servants.

“ But get up and go into the city, and you will be told what you must do.”

See, the virgin will become pregnant and give birth to a son, and they will name him Immanuel, which is translated“ God is with us.”

The Lord be with your spirit. Grace be with you all.

You are my friends if you do what I command you.

since God is not a God of disorder but of peace. As in all the churches of the saints,

and receive whatever we ask from him because we keep his commands and do what is pleasing in his sight.

Devise a plan; it will fail. Make a prediction; it will not happen. For God is with us.

“ Why do you call me‘ Lord, Lord,’ and don’t do the things I say?
