For Yahweh gives wisdom. Out of his mouth comes knowledge and understanding.

因天主賜人智慧、知識明哲、皆由天主之口而出、

For the Lord gives wisdom; from his mouth come knowledge and understanding.

All your children will be taught by Yahweh; and your children’s peace will be great.

Yahweh’s law is perfect, restoring the soul. Yahweh’s covenant is sure, making wise the simple.

Now as for these four youths, God gave them knowledge and skill in all learning and wisdom; and Daniel had understanding in all visions and dreams.

He changes the times and the seasons. He removes kings, and sets up kings. He gives wisdom to the wise, and knowledge to those who have understanding.

You simple, understand prudence! You fools, be of an understanding heart!Hear, for I will speak excellent things. The opening of my lips is for right things.For my mouth speaks truth. Wickedness is an abomination to my lips.All the words of my mouth are in righteousness. There is nothing crooked or perverse in them.They are all plain to him who understands, right to those who find knowledge.
