毋注目浮榮、蓋貨財之去、速如鷹飛、鼓翼而沖天。

爾豈可為轉瞬即無之貨財勤勞乎、貨財速去、如空中飛鷹、似乎有翼、或作爾豈可注目於貨財乎貨財速歸無有似乎有翼如空中飛鷹

Cast but a glance at riches, and they are gone, for they will surely sprout wings and fly off to the sky like an eagle.

When you take even a quick look at riches, they are gone. They grow wings and fly away into the sky like an eagle.

When your eyes light on it, it is gone, for suddenly it sprouts wings, flying like an eagle toward heaven.

When you set your eyes on it, it is gone. For wealth certainly makes itself wings Like an eagle that flies toward the heavens.

Will you set your eyes on that which is not? For riches certainly make themselves wings; They fly away like an eagle toward heaven.

因為錢財有用盡時，冠冕不能萬代長存。

你要勸誡那些今世富足的人不要高傲，也不要冀望於靠不住的錢財，要信靠將萬物厚賜給我們享用的上帝。

凡屬世界的，如肉體的私慾、眼目的私慾和今生的驕傲都不是從天父那裡來的，而是從世界來的。

「不要為自己在世上積攢財寶，世上有蟲子咬，會生銹，又有賊闖進來偷。

你們這些富有的人啊！為那將要臨到你們身上的災難痛哭哀號吧！你們的財物朽壞了，衣服也被蟲蛀了。

傳道者說：「虛空的虛空，一切都是虛空。」

有報信的人來對約伯說：「牛正在耕田、驢正在旁邊吃草的時候，示巴人忽然來襲，搶走了牲口，用刀殺了你的僕人，只有我一人逃脫來向你報信。」話音未落，又有人來報信說：「上帝的火從天而降，燒死了羊群和牧人，只有我一人逃脫來向你報信。」話音未落，又有人來報信說：「迦勒底人分三隊來襲，搶走了駱駝，用刀殺了你的僕人，只有我一人逃脫來向你報信。」

我看到日光之下有一件可悲的事：有人積攢財寶，反而害了自己。經營不善，便財富盡失，什麼也不能留給兒子。

雅各說：「你們使我連連失去兒子，約瑟沒了，西緬沒了，你們還要帶走便雅憫！災禍都落在了我頭上！」

人生不過是幻影，勞碌奔波卻一場空，積蓄財富卻不知誰來享用。

弟兄們，我告訴你們，時日不多了，從今以後，那些有妻子的，要像沒有妻子的；哭泣的，要像不哭泣的；歡喜的，要像不歡喜的；置業的，要像一無所有的。享用世界之物的，不要沉溺其中，因為現今的世界很快就要過去了。

求你使我的心愛慕你的法度而非不義之財。求你使我的眼目遠離虛空之事，按你的旨意更新我的生命。

可是，你一心貪圖不義之財，濫殺無辜，橫徵暴斂。」

傳道者說：虛空的虛空，虛空的虛空，一切都是虛空。

你們為什麼花錢買不能充饑的食物？為什麼拿辛苦賺來的錢買不能令人飽足的東西？要留心聽我的話，就可以吃美物，享受豐盛的佳餚。
