My son, don’t forget my teaching, but let your heart keep my commands;

弟子啊，我的指教你不要忘記；我的誡命你的心要恪守着；

Get wisdom, get understanding; don’t forget or turn away from the words of my mouth.

The one who has My commands and keeps them is the one who loves Me. And the one who loves Me will be loved by My Father. I also will love him and will reveal Myself to him.”Judas( not Iscariot) said to Him,“ Lord, how is it You’re going to reveal Yourself to us and not to the world?”Jesus answered,“ If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word. My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home with him.The one who doesn’t love Me will not keep My words. The word that you hear is not Mine but is from the Father who sent Me.

I will delight in Your statutes; I will not forget Your word.

These words that I am giving you today are to be in your heart.Repeat them to your children. Talk about them when you sit in your house and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up.Bind them as a sign on your hand and let them be a symbol on your forehead.Write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates.

Listen, my son, to your father’s instruction, and don’t reject your mother’s teaching,

Help me understand Your instruction, and I will obey it and follow it with all my heart.

“ You must carefully follow every command I am giving you today, so that you may live and increase, and may enter and take possession of the land the Lord swore to your fathers.

“ Only be on your guard and diligently watch yourselves, so that you don’t forget the things your eyes have seen and so that they don’t slip from your mind as long as you live. Teach them to your children and your grandchildren.

“ Instead, this is the covenant I will make with the house of Israel after those days”— the Lord’s declaration.“ I will put My teaching within them and write it on their hearts. I will be their God, and they will be My people.

My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. Because you have rejected knowledge, I will reject you from serving as My priest. Since you have forgotten the law of your God, I will also forget your sons.

I delight in Your commands, which I love.I will lift up my hands to Your commands, which I love, and will meditate on Your statutes.

I will never forget Your precepts, for You have given me life through them.

For I am commanding you today to love the Lord your God, to walk in His ways, and to keep His commands, statutes, and ordinances, so that you may live and multiply, and the Lord your God may bless you in the land you are entering to possess.But if your heart turns away and you do not listen and you are led astray to bow down to other gods and worship them,I tell you today that you will certainly perish and will not live long in the land you are entering to possess across the Jordan.I call heaven and earth as witnesses against you today that I have set before you life and death, blessing and curse. Choose life so that you and your descendants may live,love the Lord your God, obey Him, and remain faithful to Him. For He is your life, and He will prolong your life in the land the Lord swore to give to your fathers Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.”

I have treasured Your word in my heart so that I may not sin against You.

I wander like a lost sheep; seek Your servant, for I do not forget Your commands.

Consider my affliction and rescue me, for I have not forgotten Your instruction.

Be careful not to forget the covenant of the Lord your God that He made with you, and make an idol for yourselves in the shape of anything He has forbidden you.

Otherwise, they will drink, forget what is decreed, and pervert justice for all the oppressed.

Wake yourself, wake yourself up! Stand up, Jerusalem, you who have drunk the cup of His fury from the hand of the Lord; you who have drunk the goblet to the dregs— the cup that causes people to stagger.
