for the gain from her is better than gain from silver and her profit better than gold.

因为得智慧胜过得银子，其利益强如精金，

因为智慧的获利胜过银子，所得的盈余强如金子，

因为智慧比银子更有价值，比金子更有益处，

因为智慧的利润胜过银子的利润，智慧的收益胜过黄金的收益。

因为智慧的盈利好过银子，她的收成胜过金子；

因為得智慧勝過得銀子，其利益強如精金，

因為智慧的獲利勝過銀子，所得的盈餘強如金子，

因為智慧的獲利勝過銀子，所得的盈餘強如金子，

因為智慧比銀子更有價值，比金子更有益處，

因為智慧的利潤勝過銀子的利潤，智慧的收益勝過黃金的收益。

因為從智慧所得的益處勝過從銀子所得的益處；智慧所生的利強於黃金；

因為智慧的盈利好過銀子，她的收成勝過金子；

得之愈於得銀、其利愈於精金、

市之愈白金、得之愈黃金、

積智慧勝於積銀、智慧利大、勝於精金、

for she is more profitable than silver and yields better returns than gold.

Wisdom pays better than silver does. She earns more than gold does.

For wisdom is more profitable than silver, and her wages are better than gold.

for she is more profitable than silver, and her revenue is better than gold.

For her profit is better than the profit of silver, And her produce better than gold.

For her proceeds are better than the profits of silver, And her gain than fine gold.

For the gaining of it is better than the gaining of silver, And the profit thereof than fine gold.

for she is more profitable than silver, and her revenue is better than gold.

For the merchandise of it[ is] better than the merchandise of silver, and the gain thereof than fine gold.

For her benefit is more profitable than silver, and her gain is better than gold.

For her good profit is better than getting silver, and her return is better than fine gold.

How much better to get wisdom than gold! To get understanding is to be chosen rather than silver.

My fruit is better than gold, even fine gold, and my yield than choice silver.

For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world and forfeits his soul? Or what shall a man give in return for his soul?

Your testimonies are my heritage forever, for they are the joy of my heart.

Man does not know its worth, and it is not found in the land of the living.The deep says,‘ It is not in me,’ and the sea says,‘ It is not with me.’It cannot be bought for gold, and silver cannot be weighed as its price.It cannot be valued in the gold of Ophir, in precious onyx or sapphire.Gold and glass cannot equal it, nor can it be exchanged for jewels of fine gold.No mention shall be made of coral or of crystal; the price of wisdom is above pearls.The topaz of Ethiopia cannot equal it, nor can it be valued in pure gold.

Take my instruction instead of silver, and knowledge rather than choice gold,for wisdom is better than jewels, and all that you may desire cannot compare with her.

The law of your mouth is better to me than thousands of gold and silver pieces.

if you seek it like silver and search for it as for hidden treasures,

I rejoice at your word like one who finds great spoil.

God answered Solomon,“ Because this was in your heart, and you have not asked for possessions, wealth, honor, or the life of those who hate you, and have not even asked for long life, but have asked for wisdom and knowledge for yourself that you may govern my people over whom I have made you king,wisdom and knowledge are granted to you. I will also give you riches, possessions, and honor, such as none of the kings had who were before you, and none after you shall have the like.”

Indeed, I count everything as loss because of the surpassing worth of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord. For his sake I have suffered the loss of all things and count them as rubbish, in order that I may gain Christand be found in him, not having a righteousness of my own that comes from the law, but that which comes through faith in Christ, the righteousness from God that depends on faith—

I counsel you to buy from me gold refined by fire, so that you may be rich, and white garments so that you may clothe yourself and the shame of your nakedness may not be seen, and salve to anoint your eyes, so that you may see.
