Be not afraid of sudden fear, Neither of the desolation of the wicked, when it cometh:

突然來的恐嚇，你不要害怕；惡人的殘害臨到時，你也不要害怕；

恐怖忽至爾勿懼、惡人遭風爾勿驚、

一旦惡人遭譴、爾聞之而不驚。

不懼可驚之災忽至、亦不懼惡人群來加害、亦不懼惡人群來加害或作禍患臨及惡人爾亦不懼

Have no fear of sudden disaster or of the ruin that overtakes the wicked,

Don’t be terrified by sudden trouble. Don’t be afraid when sinners are destroyed.

Do not be afraid of sudden terror or of the ruin of the wicked, when it comes,

You need not be afraid of sudden disaster or the destruction that comes upon the wicked,

Do not be afraid of sudden danger, Nor of trouble from the wicked when it comes;

You will not be afraid of sudden disaster, or when destruction overtakes the wicked;

Say ye not, A conspiracy, concerning all whereof this people shall say, A conspiracy; neither fear ye their fear, nor be in dread thereof.Jehovah of hosts, him shall ye sanctify; and let him be your fear, and let him be your dread.

He shall not be afraid of evil tidings: His heart is fixed, trusting in Jehovah.

Thou shalt be hid from the scourge of the tongue; Neither shalt thou be afraid of destruction when it cometh.At destruction and dearth thou shalt laugh; Neither shalt thou be afraid of the beasts of the earth.

If it be so, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace; and he will deliver us out of thy hand, O king.But if not, be it known unto thee, O king, that we will not serve thy gods, nor worship the golden image which thou hast set up.

If thou set thy heart aright, And stretch out thy hands toward him;If iniquity be in thy hand, put it far away, And let not unrighteousness dwell in thy tents.Surely then shalt thou lift up thy face without spot; Yea, thou shalt be stedfast, and shalt not fear:

And he said unto them, Why are ye fearful? have ye not yet faith?

But even if ye should suffer for righteousness’ sake, blessed are ye: and fear not their fear, neither be troubled;

How are they become a desolation in a moment! They are utterly consumed with terrors.

Let not your heart be troubled: believe in God, believe also in me.

God is our refuge and strength, A very present help in trouble.Therefore will we not fear, though the earth do change, And though the mountains be shaken into the heart of the seas;Though the waters thereof roar and be troubled, Though the mountains tremble with the swelling thereof.[ Selah

And behold, there arose a great tempest in the sea, insomuch that the boat was covered with the waves: but he was asleep.And they came to him, and awoke him, saying, Save, Lord; we perish.And he saith unto them, Why are ye fearful, O ye of little faith? Then he arose, and rebuked the winds and the sea; and there was a great calm.

Jehovah is my light and my salvation; Whom shall I fear? Jehovah is the strength of my life; Of whom shall I be afraid?When evil- doers came upon me to eat up my flesh, Even mine adversaries and my foes, they stumbled and fell.

And not a hair of your head shall perish.In your patience ye shall win your souls.But when ye see Jerusalem compassed with armies, then know that her desolation is at hand.Then let them that are in Judæa flee unto the mountains; and let them that are in the midst of her depart out; and let not them that are in the country enter therein.For these are days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled.Woe unto them that are with child and to them that give suck in those days! for there shall be great distress upon the land, and wrath unto this people.And they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be led captive into all the nations: and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled.And there shall be signs in sun and moon and stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, in perplexity for the roaring of the sea and the billows;men fainting for fear, and for expectation of the things which are coming on the world: for the powers of the heavens shall be shaken.And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.But when these things begin to come to pass, look up, and lift up your heads; because your redemption draweth nigh.

When your fear cometh as a storm, And your calamity cometh on as a whirlwind; When distress and anguish come upon you.

When therefore ye see the abomination of desolation, which was spoken of through Daniel the prophet, standing in the holy place( let him that readeth understand),

And when ye shall hear of wars and tumults, be not terrified: for these things must needs come to pass first; but the end is not immediately.

And ye shall hear of wars and rumors of wars; see that ye be not troubled: for these things must needs come to pass; but the end is not yet.
