Do not say to your neighbor,“ Come back tomorrow and I’ll give it to you”— when you already have it with you.

Suppose you already have something to give. Don’t say to your neighbor,“ Come back tomorrow. I’ll give it to you then.”

Do not say to your neighbor,“ Go, and come again, tomorrow I will give it”— when you have it with you.

If you can help your neighbor now, don’t say,“ Come back tomorrow, and then I’ll help you.”

Don’t say to your neighbor,“ Go away! Come back later. I’ll give it tomorrow”— when it is there with you.

Do not say to your neighbor,“ Go, and come back, And tomorrow I will give it,” When you have it with you.

Say not unto thy neighbor, Go, and come again, And to- morrow I will give; When thou hast it by thee.

Don’t say to your neighbor,“ Go away! Come back later. I’ll give it tomorrow”— when it is there with you.

‘ You shall not oppress your neighbor, nor rob him. The wages of a hired worker are not to remain with you all night until morning.

And if he is a poor man, you shall not sleep with his pledge.When the sun goes down you shall certainly return the pledge to him, so that he may sleep in his cloak and bless you; and it will be righteousness for you before the Lord your God.“ You shall not exploit a hired worker who is poor and needy, whether he is one of your countrymen or one of your strangers who are in your land in your towns.You shall give him his wages on his day before the sun sets— for he is poor and sets his heart on it— so that he does not cry out against you to the Lord, and it becomes a sin in you.

Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with all your might; for there is no activity, planning, knowledge, or wisdom in Sheol where you are going.

But now finish doing it also, so that just as there was the willingness to desire it, so there may be also the completion of it by your ability.

Instruct them to do good, to be rich in good works, to be generous and ready to share,

Sow your seed in the morning and do not be idle in the evening, for you do not know whether one or the other will succeed, or whether both of them alike will be good.

But I have sent the brothers, in order that our boasting about you may not prove empty in this case, so that, as I was saying, you will be prepared;

Do not boast about tomorrow, For you do not know what a day may bring.
