That thou shalt take of the first of all the fruit of the earth, which thou shalt bring of thy land that the LORD thy God giveth thee, and shalt put[ it] in a basket, and shalt go unto the place which the LORD thy God shall choose to place his name there.And thou shalt go unto the priest that shall be in those days, and say unto him, I profess this day unto the LORD thy God, that I am come unto the country which the LORD sware unto our fathers for to give us.And the priest shall take the basket out of thine hand, and set it down before the altar of the LORD thy God.And thou shalt speak and say before the LORD thy God, A Syrian ready to perish[ was] my father, and he went down into Egypt, and sojourned there with a few, and became there a nation, great, mighty, and populous:And the Egyptians evil entreated us, and afflicted us, and laid upon us hard bondage:And when we cried unto the LORD God of our fathers, the LORD heard our voice, and looked on our affliction, and our labour, and our oppression:And the LORD brought us forth out of Egypt with a mighty hand, and with an outstretched arm, and with great terribleness, and with signs, and with wonders:And he hath brought us into this place, and hath given us this land,[ even] a land that floweth with milk and honey.And now, behold, I have brought the firstfruits of the land, which thou, O LORD, hast given me. And thou shalt set it before the LORD thy God, and worship before the LORD thy God:And thou shalt rejoice in every good[ thing] which the LORD thy God hath given unto thee, and unto thine house, thou, and the Levite, and the stranger that[ is] among you.When thou hast made an end of tithing all the tithes of thine increase the third year,[ which is] the year of tithing, and hast given[ it] unto the Levite, the stranger, the fatherless, and the widow, that they may eat within thy gates, and be filled;Then thou shalt say before the LORD thy God, I have brought away the hallowed things out of[ mine] house, and also have given them unto the Levite, and unto the stranger, to the fatherless, and to the widow, according to all thy commandments which thou hast commanded me: I have not transgressed thy commandments, neither have I forgotten[ them]:I have not eaten thereof in my mourning, neither have I taken away[ ought] thereof for[ any] unclean[ use], nor given[ ought] thereof for the dead:[ but] I have hearkened to the voice of the LORD my God,[ and] have done according to all that thou hast commanded me.Look down from thy holy habitation, from heaven, and bless thy people Israel, and the land which thou hast given us, as thou swarest unto our fathers, a land that floweth with milk and honey.

The first of the firstfruits of thy land thou shalt bring into the house of the LORD thy God. Thou shalt not seethe a kid in his mother’s milk.

Not because I desire a gift: but I desire fruit that may abound to your account.But I have all, and abound: I am full, having received of Epaphroditus the things[ which were sent] from you, an odour of a sweet smell, a sacrifice acceptable, wellpleasing to God.

And all the congregation of the children of Israel departed from the presence of Moses.And they came, every one whose heart stirred him up, and every one whom his spirit made willing,[ and] they brought the LORD’S offering to the work of the tabernacle of the congregation, and for all his service, and for the holy garments.And they came, both men and women, as many as were willing hearted,[ and] brought bracelets, and earrings, and rings, and tablets, all jewels of gold: and every man that offered[ offered] an offering of gold unto the LORD.And every man, with whom was found blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine linen, and goats’[ hair], and red skins of rams, and badgers’ skins, brought[ them].Every one that did offer an offering of silver and brass brought the LORD’S offering: and every man, with whom was found shittim wood for any work of the service, brought[ it].And all the women that were wise hearted did spin with their hands, and brought that which they had spun,[ both] of blue, and of purple,[ and] of scarlet, and of fine linen.And all the women whose heart stirred them up in wisdom spun goats’[ hair].And the rulers brought onyx stones, and stones to be set, for the ephod, and for the breastplate;And spice, and oil for the light, and for the anointing oil, and for the sweet incense.The children of Israel brought a willing offering unto the LORD, every man and woman, whose heart made them willing to bring for all manner of work, which the LORD had commanded to be made by the hand of Moses.

Thou shalt not delay[ to offer] the first of thy ripe fruits, and of thy liquors: the firstborn of thy sons shalt thou give unto me.

For ye have the poor with you always, and whensoever ye will ye may do them good: but me ye have not always.She hath done what she could: she is come aforehand to anoint my body to the burying.

[ Is it] time for you, O ye, to dwell in your cieled houses, and this house[ lie] waste?Now therefore thus saith the LORD of hosts; Consider your ways.Ye have sown much, and bring in little; ye eat, but ye have not enough; ye drink, but ye are not filled with drink; ye clothe you, but there is none warm; and he that earneth wages earneth wages[ to put it] into a bag with holes.Thus saith the LORD of hosts; Consider your ways.Go up to the mountain, and bring wood, and build the house; and I will take pleasure in it, and I will be glorified, saith the LORD.Ye looked for much, and, lo,[ it came] to little; and when ye brought[ it] home, I did blow upon it. Why? saith the LORD of hosts. Because of mine house that[ is] waste, and ye run every man unto his own house.

He that oppresseth the poor reproacheth his Maker: but he that honoureth him hath mercy on the poor.

How that in a great trial of affliction the abundance of their joy and their deep poverty abounded unto the riches of their liberality.For to[ their] power, I bear record, yea, and beyond[ their] power[ they were] willing of themselves;

Will a man rob God? Yet ye have robbed me. But ye say, Wherein have we robbed thee? In tithes and offerings.Ye[ are] cursed with a curse: for ye have robbed me,[ even] this whole nation.Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the LORD of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that[ there shall] not[ be room] enough[ to receive it].

We have therefore brought an oblation for the LORD, what every man hath gotten, of jewels of gold, chains, and bracelets, rings, earrings, and tablets, to make an atonement for our souls before the LORD.And Moses and Eleazar the priest took the gold of them,[ even] all wrought jewels.And all the gold of the offering that they offered up to the LORD, of the captains of thousands, and of the captains of hundreds, was sixteen thousand seven hundred and fifty shekels.([ For] the men of war had taken spoil, every man for himself.)And Moses and Eleazar the priest took the gold of the captains of thousands and of hundreds, and brought it into the tabernacle of the congregation,[ for] a memorial for the children of Israel before the LORD.

That the princes of Israel, heads of the house of their fathers, who[ were] the princes of the tribes, and were over them that were numbered, offered:And they brought their offering before the LORD, six covered wagons, and twelve oxen; a wagon for two of the princes, and for each one an ox: and they brought them before the tabernacle.And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,Take[ it] of them, that they may be to do the service of the tabernacle of the congregation; and thou shalt give them unto the Levites, to every man according to his service.And Moses took the wagons and the oxen, and gave them unto the Levites.Two wagons and four oxen he gave unto the sons of Gershon, according to their service:And four wagons and eight oxen he gave unto the sons of Merari, according unto their service, under the hand of Ithamar the son of Aaron the priest.But unto the sons of Kohath he gave none: because the service of the sanctuary belonging unto them[ was that] they should bear upon their shoulders.And the princes offered for dedicating of the altar in the day that it was anointed, even the princes offered their offering before the altar.And the LORD said unto Moses, They shall offer their offering, each prince on his day, for the dedicating of the altar.And he that offered his offering the first day was Nahshon the son of Amminadab, of the tribe of Judah:And his offering[ was] one silver charger, the weight thereof[ was] an hundred and thirty[ shekels], one silver bowl of seventy shekels, after the shekel of the sanctuary; both of them[ were] full of fine flour mingled with oil for a meat offering:One spoon of ten[ shekels] of gold, full of incense:One young bullock, one ram, one lamb of the first year, for a burnt offering:One kid of the goats for a sin offering:And for a sacrifice of peace offerings, two oxen, five rams, five he goats, five lambs of the first year: this[ was] the offering of Nahshon the son of Amminadab.On the second day Nethaneel the son of Zuar, prince of Issachar, did offer:He offered[ for] his offering one silver charger, the weight whereof[ was] an hundred and thirty[ shekels], one silver bowl of seventy shekels, after the shekel of the sanctuary; both of them full of fine flour mingled with oil for a meat offering:One spoon of gold of ten[ shekels], full of incense:One young bullock, one ram, one lamb of the first year, for a burnt offering:One kid of the goats for a sin offering:And for a sacrifice of peace offerings, two oxen, five rams, five he goats, five lambs of the first year: this[ was] the offering of Nethaneel the son of Zuar.On the third day Eliab the son of Helon, prince of the children of Zebulun,[ did offer]:His offering[ was] one silver charger, the weight whereof[ was] an hundred and thirty[ shekels], one silver bowl of seventy shekels, after the shekel of the sanctuary; both of them full of fine flour mingled with oil for a meat offering:One golden spoon of ten[ shekels], full of incense:One young bullock, one ram, one lamb of the first year, for a burnt offering:One kid of the goats for a sin offering:And for a sacrifice of peace offerings, two oxen, five rams, five he goats, five lambs of the first year: this[ was] the offering of Eliab the son of Helon.On the fourth day Elizur the son of Shedeur, prince of the children of Reuben,[ did offer]:His offering[ was] one silver charger of the weight of an hundred and thirty[ shekels], one silver bowl of seventy shekels, after the shekel of the sanctuary; both of them full of fine flour mingled with oil for a meat offering:One golden spoon of ten[ shekels], full of incense:One young bullock, one ram, one lamb of the first year, for a burnt offering:One kid of the goats for a sin offering:And for a sacrifice of peace offerings, two oxen, five rams, five he goats, five lambs of the first year: this[ was] the offering of Elizur the son of Shedeur.On the fifth day Shelumiel the son of Zurishaddai, prince of the children of Simeon,[ did offer]:His offering[ was] one silver charger, the weight whereof[ was] an hundred and thirty[ shekels], one silver bowl of seventy shekels, after the shekel of the sanctuary; both of them full of fine flour mingled with oil for a meat offering:One golden spoon of ten[ shekels], full of incense:One young bullock, one ram, one lamb of the first year, for a burnt offering:One kid of the goats for a sin offering:And for a sacrifice of peace offerings, two oxen, five rams, five he goats, five lambs of the first year: this[ was] the offering of Shelumiel the son of Zurishaddai.On the sixth day Eliasaph the son of Deuel, prince of the children of Gad,[ offered]:His offering[ was] one silver charger of the weight of an hundred and thirty[ shekels], a silver bowl of seventy shekels, after the shekel of the sanctuary; both of them full of fine flour mingled with oil for a meat offering:One golden spoon of ten[ shekels], full of incense:One young bullock, one ram, one lamb of the first year, for a burnt offering:One kid of the goats for a sin offering:And for a sacrifice of peace offerings, two oxen, five rams, five he goats, five lambs of the first year: this[ was] the offering of Eliasaph the son of Deuel.On the seventh day Elishama the son of Ammihud, prince of the children of Ephraim,[ offered]:His offering[ was] one silver charger, the weight whereof[ was] an hundred and thirty[ shekels], one silver bowl of seventy shekels, after the shekel of the sanctuary; both of them full of fine flour mingled with oil for a meat offering:One golden spoon of ten[ shekels], full of incense:One young bullock, one ram, one lamb of the first year, for a burnt offering:One kid of the goats for a sin offering:And for a sacrifice of peace offerings, two oxen, five rams, five he goats, five lambs of the first year: this[ was] the offering of Elishama the son of Ammihud.On the eighth day[ offered] Gamaliel the son of Pedahzur, prince of the children of Manasseh:His offering[ was] one silver charger of the weight of an hundred and thirty[ shekels], one silver bowl of seventy shekels, after the shekel of the sanctuary; both of them full of fine flour mingled with oil for a meat offering:One golden spoon of ten[ shekels], full of incense:One young bullock, one ram, one lamb of the first year, for a burnt offering:One kid of the goats for a sin offering:And for a sacrifice of peace offerings, two oxen, five rams, five he goats, five lambs of the first year: this[ was] the offering of Gamaliel the son of Pedahzur.On the ninth day Abidan the son of Gideoni, prince of the children of Benjamin,[ offered]:His offering[ was] one silver charger, the weight whereof[ was] an hundred and thirty[ shekels], one silver bowl of seventy shekels, after the shekel of the sanctuary; both of them full of fine flour mingled with oil for a meat offering:One golden spoon of ten[ shekels], full of incense:One young bullock, one ram, one lamb of the first year, for a burnt offering:One kid of the goats for a sin offering:And for a sacrifice of peace offerings, two oxen, five rams, five he goats, five lambs of the first year: this[ was] the offering of Abidan the son of Gideoni.On the tenth day Ahiezer the son of Ammishaddai, prince of the children of Dan,[ offered]:His offering[ was] one silver charger, the weight whereof[ was] an hundred and thirty[ shekels], one silver bowl of seventy shekels, after the shekel of the sanctuary; both of them full of fine flour mingled with oil for a meat offering:One golden spoon of ten[ shekels], full of incense:One young bullock, one ram, one lamb of the first year, for a burnt offering:One kid of the goats for a sin offering:And for a sacrifice of peace offerings, two oxen, five rams, five he goats, five lambs of the first year: this[ was] the offering of Ahiezer the son of Ammishaddai.On the eleventh day Pagiel the son of Ocran, prince of the children of Asher,[ offered]:His offering[ was] one silver charger, the weight whereof[ was] an hundred and thirty[ shekels], one silver bowl of seventy shekels, after the shekel of the sanctuary; both of them full of fine flour mingled with oil for a meat offering:One golden spoon of ten[ shekels], full of incense:One young bullock, one ram, one lamb of the first year, for a burnt offering:One kid of the goats for a sin offering:And for a sacrifice of peace offerings, two oxen, five rams, five he goats, five lambs of the first year: this[ was] the offering of Pagiel the son of Ocran.On the twelfth day Ahira the son of Enan, prince of the children of Naphtali,[ offered]:His offering[ was] one silver charger, the weight whereof[ was] an hundred and thirty[ shekels], one silver bowl of seventy shekels, after the shekel of the sanctuary; both of them full of fine flour mingled with oil for a meat offering:One golden spoon of ten[ shekels], full of incense:One young bullock, one ram, one lamb of the first year, for a burnt offering:One kid of the goats for a sin offering:And for a sacrifice of peace offerings, two oxen, five rams, five he goats, five lambs of the first year: this[ was] the offering of Ahira the son of Enan.This[ was] the dedication of the altar, in the day when it was anointed, by the princes of Israel: twelve chargers of silver, twelve silver bowls, twelve spoons of gold:Each charger of silver[ weighing] an hundred and thirty[ shekels], each bowl seventy: all the silver vessels[ weighed] two thousand and four hundred[ shekels], after the shekel of the sanctuary:The golden spoons[ were] twelve, full of incense,[ weighing] ten[ shekels] apiece, after the shekel of the sanctuary: all the gold of the spoons[ was] an hundred and twenty[ shekels].All the oxen for the burnt offering[ were] twelve bullocks, the rams twelve, the lambs of the first year twelve, with their meat offering: and the kids of the goats for sin offering twelve.And all the oxen for the sacrifice of the peace offerings[ were] twenty and four bullocks, the rams sixty, the he goats sixty, the lambs of the first year sixty. This[ was] the dedication of the altar, after that it was anointed.And when Moses was gone into the tabernacle of the congregation to speak with him, then he heard the voice of one speaking unto him from off the mercy seat that[ was] upon the ark of testimony, from between the two cherubims: and he spake unto him.

But whoso hath this world’s good, and seeth his brother have need, and shutteth up his bowels[ of compassion] from him, how dwelleth the love of God in him?My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth.

And Melchizedek king of Salem brought forth bread and wine: and he[ was] the priest of the most high God.And he blessed him, and said, Blessed[ be] Abram of the most high God, possessor of heaven and earth:And blessed be the most high God, which hath delivered thine enemies into thy hand. And he gave him tithes of all.And the king of Sodom said unto Abram, Give me the persons, and take the goods to thyself.

And this stone, which I have set[ for] a pillar, shall be God’s house: and of all that thou shalt give me I will surely give the tenth unto thee.

But when thou makest a feast, call the poor, the maimed, the lame, the blind:And thou shalt be blessed; for they cannot recompense thee: for thou shalt be recompensed at the resurrection of the just.

I speak not by commandment, but by occasion of the forwardness of others, and to prove the sincerity of your love.For ye know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that ye through his poverty might be rich.

And Judas Iscariot, one of the twelve, went unto the chief priests, to betray him unto them.And when they heard[ it], they were glad, and promised to give him money. And he sought how he might conveniently betray him.And the first day of unleavened bread, when they killed the passover, his disciples said unto him, Where wilt thou that we go and prepare that thou mayest eat the passover?And he sendeth forth two of his disciples, and saith unto them, Go ye into the city, and there shall meet you a man bearing a pitcher of water: follow him.And wheresoever he shall go in, say ye to the goodman of the house, The Master saith, Where is the guestchamber, where I shall eat the passover with my disciples?And he will shew you a large upper room furnished[ and] prepared: there make ready for us.And his disciples went forth, and came into the city, and found as he had said unto them: and they made ready the passover.And in the evening he cometh with the twelve.And as they sat and did eat, Jesus said, Verily I say unto you, One of you which eateth with me shall betray me.And they began to be sorrowful, and to say unto him one by one,[ Is] it I? and another[ said, Is] it I?And he answered and said unto them,[ It is] one of the twelve, that dippeth with me in the dish.The Son of man indeed goeth, as it is written of him: but woe to that man by whom the Son of man is betrayed! good were it for that man if he had never been born.
