不讲欺诈之言，不说荒谬的话。

杜绝所有的恶事。

然而，上帝所立的坚实根基永不动摇，这根基上刻着：“主认识谁是属于祂的人”，“凡自称是属于主的人都要离弃罪恶。”

我要弃绝恶事，我憎恶背弃上帝者的行为，不沾染他们的恶行。

我遵行你一切的法则，我憎恨一切恶道。

无赖与恶人满口诡诈，

骄横是沦亡的前奏，狂傲是败落的预兆。

耶和华所憎恶的事有六样，连祂厌恶的事共有七样：高傲的眼睛，撒谎的舌头，杀害无辜的手，图谋诡计的心，奔跑作恶的脚，撒谎的假证人和在弟兄中挑起争端的人。

我从你的法则中得到智慧，我厌恶一切诡诈之道。

耶和华虽在高天之上，仍看顾卑微的人，祂对骄傲的人也了如指掌。

义人的口发出智慧，诡诈的舌必被割掉。
