Know that Yahweh, he is God. It is he who has made us, and we are his. We are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.

Oh come, let’s worship and bow down. Let’s kneel before Yahweh, our Maker,for he is our God. We are the people of his pasture, and the sheep in his care. Today, oh that you would hear his voice!

“ Be still, and know that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations. I will be exalted in the earth.”

Your hands have made me and formed me. Give me understanding, that I may learn your commandments.

For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared before that we would walk in them.

Therefore let them also who suffer according to the will of God in doing good entrust their souls to him, as to a faithful Creator.

This is eternal life, that they should know you, the only true God, and him whom you sent, Jesus Christ.

They will know that I, Yahweh, their God am with them, and that they, the house of Israel, are my people, says the Lord Yahweh.You my sheep, the sheep of my pasture, are men, and I am your God,’ says the Lord Yahweh.”

It was shown to you so that you might know that Yahweh is God. There is no one else besides him.

Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own,for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s.

For you were going astray like sheep; but now you have returned to the Shepherd and Overseer of your souls.

“‘ Your hands have framed me and fashioned me altogether, yet you destroy me.Remember, I beg you, that you have fashioned me as clay. Will you bring me into dust again?Haven’t you poured me out like milk, and curdled me like cheese?You have clothed me with skin and flesh, and knit me together with bones and sinews.You have granted me life and loving kindness. Your visitation has preserved my spirit.Yet you hid these things in your heart. I know that this is with you:

For you formed my inmost being. You knit me together in my mother’s womb.I will give thanks to you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Your works are wonderful. My soul knows that very well.My frame wasn’t hidden from you, when I was made in secret, woven together in the depths of the earth.Your eyes saw my body. In your book they were all written, the days that were ordained for me, when as yet there were none of them.How precious to me are your thoughts, God! How vast is their sum!If I would count them, they are more in number than the sand. When I wake up, I am still with you.If only you, God, would kill the wicked. Get away from me, you bloodthirsty men!For they speak against you wickedly. Your enemies take your name in vain.Yahweh, don’t I hate those who hate you? Am I not grieved with those who rise up against you?I hate them with perfect hatred. They have become my enemies.Search me, God, and know my heart. Try me, and know my thoughts.See if there is any wicked way in me, and lead me in the everlasting way.

So we, your people and sheep of your pasture, will give you thanks forever. We will praise you forever, to all generations.

Know therefore today, and take it to heart, that Yahweh himself is God in heaven above and on the earth beneath. There is no one else.

Let Israel rejoice in him who made them. Let the children of Zion be joyful in their King.

However at that time, not knowing God, you were in bondage to those who by nature are not gods.But now that you have come to know God, or rather to be known by God, why do you turn back again to the weak and miserable elemental principles, to which you desire to be in bondage all over again?

Now therefore, Yahweh our God, save us, I beg you, out of his hand, that all the kingdoms of the earth may know that you, Yahweh, are God alone.”

But he led out his own people like sheep, and guided them in the wilderness like a flock.

You who tell good news to Zion, go up on a high mountain. You who tell good news to Jerusalem, lift up your voice with strength! Lift it up! Don’t be afraid! Say to the cities of Judah,“ Behold, your God!”Behold, the Lord Yahweh will come as a mighty one, and his arm will rule for him. Behold, his reward is with him, and his recompense before him.He will feed his flock like a shepherd. He will gather the lambs in his arm, and carry them in his bosom. He will gently lead those who have their young.

Know therefore that Yahweh your God himself is God, the faithful God, who keeps covenant and loving kindness with them who love him and keep his commandments to a thousand generations,

At the time of the evening offering, Elijah the prophet came near, and said,“ Yahweh, the God of Abraham, of Isaac, and of Israel, let it be known today that you are God in Israel, and that I am your servant, and that I have done all these things at your word.Hear me, Yahweh, hear me, that this people may know that you, Yahweh, are God, and that you have turned their heart back again.”Then Yahweh’s fire fell, and consumed the burnt offering, the wood, the stones, and the dust, and licked up the water that was in the trench.When all the people saw it, they fell on their faces. They said,“ Yahweh, he is God! Yahweh, he is God!”

We have become like those over whom you never ruled, like those who were not called by your name.

Shepherd the flock of God which is among you, exercising the oversight, not under compulsion, but voluntarily, not for dishonest gain, but willingly;not as lording it over those entrusted to you, but making yourselves examples to the flock.When the chief Shepherd is revealed, you will receive the crown of glory that doesn’t fade away.

I am the good shepherd. I know my own, and I’m known by my own;even as the Father knows me, and I know the Father. I lay down my life for the sheep.I have other sheep, which are not of this fold. I must bring them also, and they will hear my voice. They will become one flock with one shepherd.

“‘ For the Lord Yahweh says:“ Behold, I myself, even I, will search for my sheep, and will seek them out.

Today, Yahweh will deliver you into my hand. I will strike you, and take your head from off you. I will give the dead bodies of the army of the Philistines today to the birds of the sky, and to the wild animals of the earth; that all the earth may know that there is a God in Israel,and that all this assembly may know that Yahweh doesn’t save with sword and spear; for the battle is Yahweh’s, and he will give you into our hand.”

But you don’t believe, because you are not of my sheep, as I told you.My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me.I give eternal life to them. They will never perish, and no one will snatch them out of my hand.

God, why have you rejected us forever? Why does your anger smolder against the sheep of your pasture?Remember your congregation, which you purchased of old, which you have redeemed to be the tribe of your inheritance: Mount Zion, in which you have lived.

But Yahweh is the true God. He is the living God, and an everlasting King. At his wrath, the earth trembles. The nations aren’t able to withstand his indignation.

Take heed, therefore, to yourselves, and to all the flock, in which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers, to shepherd the assembly of the Lord and God which he purchased with his own blood.For I know that after my departure, vicious wolves will enter in among you, not sparing the flock.

Then he remembered the days of old, Moses and his people, saying,“ Where is he who brought them up out of the sea with the shepherds of his flock? Where is he who put his Holy Spirit among them?”

seeing it is God who said,“ Light will shine out of darkness,” who has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.

For Yahweh is a great God, a great King above all gods.

Is it good to you that you should oppress, that you should despise the work of your hands, and smile on the counsel of the wicked?

But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for God’s own possession, that you may proclaim the excellence of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light.

For as I passed along and observed the objects of your worship, I also found an altar with this inscription:‘ TO AN UNKNOWN GOD.’ What therefore you worship in ignorance, I announce to you.The God who made the world and all things in it, he, being Lord of heaven and earth, doesn’t dwell in temples made with hands.

Remember also your Creator in the days of your youth, before the evil days come, and the years draw near, when you will say,“ I have no pleasure in them;”

who have said,“ With our tongue we will prevail. Our lips are our own. Who is lord over us?”
