空中飛鳥、棲止其旁、和鳴於樹枝之上、

飛鳥來集。巢於其林。相顧而樂。嚶嚶其鳴。

The birds of the sky nest by the waters; they sing among the branches.

The birds of the sky live beside the springs; they make their voices heard among the foliage.

The trees of the Lord drink their fill, The cedars of Lebanon which He planted,Where the birds build their nests, And the stork, whose home is the juniper trees.

I know every bird of the mountains, And everything that moves in the field is Mine.

Look at the birds of the sky, that they do not sow, nor reap, nor gather crops into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more important than they?

It is He who gives an animal its food, And feeds young ravens that cry.

And Jesus* said to him,“ The foxes have holes and the birds of the sky have nests, but the Son of Man has nowhere to lay His head.”

The bird also has found a house, And the swallow a nest for herself, where she may put her young: Your altars, Lord of armies, My King and my God.
