O LORD, the heavens praise your amazing deeds, as well as your faithfulness in the angelic assembly.

David praised the LORD before the entire assembly:“ O LORD God of our father Israel, you deserve praise forevermore!O LORD, you are great, mighty, majestic, magnificent, glorious, and sovereign over all the sky and earth! You have dominion and exalt yourself as the ruler of all.You are the source of wealth and honor; you rule over all. You possess strength and might to magnify and give strength to all.Now, our God, we give thanks to you and praise your majestic name!“ But who am I and who are my people, that we should be in a position to contribute this much? Indeed, everything comes from you, and we have simply given back to you what is yours.For we are resident foreigners and nomads in your presence, like all our ancestors; our days are like a shadow on the earth, without security.O LORD our God, all this wealth, which we have collected to build a temple for you to honor your holy name, comes from you; it all belongs to you.I know, my God, that you examine thoughts and are pleased with integrity. With pure motives I contribute all this; and now I look with joy as your people who have gathered here contribute to you.O LORD God of our ancestors Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, maintain the motives of your people and keep them devoted to you.Make my son Solomon willing to obey your commands, rules, and regulations, and to complete building the palace for which I have made preparations.”David told the entire assembly:“ Praise the LORD your God!” So the entire assembly praised the LORD God of their ancestors; they bowed down and stretched out flat on the ground before the LORD and the king.

Then I will give you thanks in the great assembly; I will praise you before a large crowd of people!

a God who is honored in the great angelic assembly, and more awesome than all who surround him?

I have told the great assembly about your justice. Look! I spare no words! O LORD, you know this is true.I have not failed to tell about your justice; I spoke about your reliability and deliverance; I have not neglected to tell the great assembly about your loyal love and faithfulness.

I will thank the LORD profusely, in the middle of a crowd I will praise him,

Praise the LORD! Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good, and his loyal love endures!

I will give you thanks before the nations, O LORD! I will sing praises to you before foreigners!

I will thank the LORD with all my heart! I will tell about all your amazing deeds!

Then the king turned around and pronounced a blessing over the whole Israelite assembly as they stood there.He said,“ The LORD God of Israel is worthy of praise because he has fulfilled what he promised my father David.

You are the reason I offer praise in the great assembly; I will fulfill my promises before the LORD’s loyal followers.

Let them exalt him in the assembly of the people! Let them praise him in the place where the leaders preside!

The LORD God of Israel deserves praise, in the future and forevermore. Let all the people say,“ We agree! Praise the LORD!”

Praise the LORD, O my soul! With all that is within me, praise his holy name!

On the fourth day they assembled in the Valley of Berachah, where they praised the LORD. So that place is called the Valley of Berachah to this very day.Then all the men of Judah and Jerusalem returned joyfully to Jerusalem with Jehoshaphat leading them; the LORD had given them reason to rejoice over their enemies.They entered Jerusalem to the sound of stringed instruments and trumpets and proceeded to the temple of the LORD.
