The heavens are Yahweh’s heavens, but he has given the earth to the children of men.

諸天為耶和華所有、地則賜予世人兮、

天上之明宮、屬於耶和華、彼以天下、賜之於人兮。

天乃主之天、主將地賜之於人、

天為主之天兮。而授人以塵世。

The highest heavens belong to the Lord, but the earth he has given to mankind.

‘ I have made the earth, the men, and the animals that are on the surface of the earth by my great power and by my outstretched arm. I give it to whom it seems right to me.Now I have given all these lands into the hand of Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon, my servant. I have also given the animals of the field to him to serve him.

You make him ruler over the works of your hands. You have put all things under his feet:

God blessed them. God said to them,“ Be fruitful, multiply, fill the earth, and subdue it. Have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the sky, and over every living thing that moves on the earth.”God said,“ Behold, I have given you every herb yielding seed, which is on the surface of all the earth, and every tree, which bears fruit yielding seed. It will be your food.To every animal of the earth, and to every bird of the sky, and to everything that creeps on the earth, in which there is life, I have given every green herb for food;” and it was so.

When the Most High gave to the nations their inheritance, when he separated the children of men, he set the bounds of the peoples according to the number of the children of Israel.

God blessed Noah and his sons, and said to them,“ Be fruitful, multiply, and replenish the earth.The fear of you and the dread of you will be on every animal of the earth, and on every bird of the sky. Everything that moves along the ground, and all the fish of the sea, are delivered into your hand.Every moving thing that lives will be food for you. As I gave you the green herb, I have given everything to you.

Part your heavens, Yahweh, and come down. Touch the mountains, and they will smoke.

Yahweh says,“ Heaven is my throne, and the earth is my footstool. What kind of house will you build to me? Where will I rest?

You will pursue them in anger, and destroy them from under the heavens of Yahweh.

Praise him, you heavens of heavens, you waters that are above the heavens.

In my Father’s house are many homes. If it weren’t so, I would have told you. I am going to prepare a place for you.
