And on that very day the Lord brought the sons of Israel out of the land of Egypt according to their multitudes.

And Moses said to the people,“ Remember this day in which you departed from Egypt, from the house of slavery; for by a powerful hand the Lord brought you out from this place. And nothing with yeast shall be eaten.

Now when Pharaoh had let the people go, God did not lead them by the way of the land of the Philistines, even though it was near; for God said,“ The people might change their minds when they see war, and return to Egypt.”

But He led His own people out like sheep, And guided them in the wilderness like a flock;

Then He brought the Israelites out with silver and gold, And among His tribes there was not one who stumbled.

Then Samuel said to the people,“ It is the Lord who appointed Moses and Aaron and who brought your fathers up from the land of Egypt.Now then, take your stand, so that I may enter into judgment with you before the Lord concerning all the righteous acts of the Lord that He did for you and your fathers.When Jacob went into Egypt and your fathers cried out to the Lord, then the Lord sent Moses and Aaron who brought your fathers out of Egypt and settled them in this place.
