On that day the Lord brought the Israelites out of Egypt like an army on the march.

Then Moses said to the people,“ Remember this day. It’s the day you came out of Egypt. That’s the land where you were slaves. The Lord used his mighty hand to bring you out of Egypt. Don’t eat anything with yeast in it.

Pharaoh let the people go. The shortest road from Goshen to Canaan went through the Philistine country. But God didn’t lead them that way. God said,“ If they have to go into battle, they might change their minds. They might return to Egypt.”

But he brought his people out like a flock. He led them like sheep through the desert.

He brought the people of Israel out of Egypt. The Egyptians loaded them down with silver and gold. From among the tribes of Israel no one got tired or fell down.

Then Samuel said to the people,“ The Lord appointed Moses and Aaron. He brought out of Egypt your people who lived long ago.Now then, stand here. I’m going to remind you of all the good things the Lord has done for you and your people. He is a witness.“ After Jacob’s family entered Egypt, they cried out to the Lord for help. The Lord sent Moses and Aaron. They brought your people out of Egypt. They had them make their homes in this land.
